I know people ask this about helper meds all the time but I’m wondering a more specific question, obviously benzodiazepines will help the anxiety aspects but will they also help the hot flashes/chills? I could deal with the diarrhea, runny nose, aches, overwhelming lack of dopamine, cravings, and all of that, but the thing that gets me every damn time is my inability to regulate my body temperature whether too hot or too cold (and regardless of the temperature the sweats that come along with it) . Pregablin seems to do the trick but only at high doses that I’m able to access for only 2 days a week. If not, I have heard clonidine will but how do I go about getting that? (Not sourcing, simply asking what route I’d go with my doctor?)
