Methadone is not the option for MGM addiction

I keep reading people recommending methadone for an answer for mgm addiction. Please don't consider going to a methadone clinic if you have been addicted to just alkaloids or something made from kratom alkaloids. These alks can't kill you and for this reason alone methadone should not be considered. Methadone is for the opiate addicts who decide to risk their life every time they want to get high or not to go through withdrawals. The people who have been giving this advice are people who are fresh in the methadone clinic and the dirty side of opiate addiction. The fucking stuff will have you for life and I'm not kidding one little bit. Please consider anything else besides methadone. It's truly Satan in liquid form and it will take you because you just don't say one day that I quit and a few days after going through withdrawals you're okay. It's a 60 withdrawal and 45 of those days make mgm withdrawals seem like a birthday party. Listen to me on this because I know what I'm talking about and I'm just trying to help you make a decision that will definitely save your ass.

Day 8

Damn this is tough but I’ll never stop fighting. I quit taking plain leaf kratom yesterday. I didn’t take SR or suboxone or any helper meds during this detox. Just plain leaf and pure grit and Im fresh out of plain leaf. Fuck it feels amazing and terrible at the same time. My emotions are all over the place and it feels good to feel something. Music sounds INSANE. It’s hitting harder than ever before. I’ve been listening to the same song on repeat for 2 days and it still hasn’t gotten old somehow. After quitting the kratom I’m having some rebound withdrawals but nothing I can’t handle. Fuck I’m a savage for this. Excited for the weekend. This week at work has been difficult to say the least. Thanks for everyone who’s DM’d me and commented on my posts. Yall help me more than you know. I appreciate the continued support, encouragement and atta boys. I know I’m doing the right thing but man it still hurts. My whole body is screaming and I want to cry and idk if it’s happy tears or sad tears but I’m down for either right now. Day 8 baby. Let’s get it.

Mgm causes little to no withdrawal

Does anyone remember this from the RP telegram? And the other people also in there saying the same shit. It's old but funny to read now.

New 7Stax (says no MGM)?

In Florida I still buy plain leaf and sometimes MIT. This one shop (will not share where) still has a ton of 7stax but on the pack it specifically states no MGM 15 or 16 to meet laws on the back which I’ve never seen before. Is this true? Are they really just mit now?

Day 7

1 week since I took MGM15. Took MIT the first day or two. Then just plain leaf. I ran out of plain leaf this morning and decided I’m just not gonna buy anymore. So as of right now I’m stone cold sober since 7am. Honestly, all things considered, I’m feeling pretty damn good about myself right now. Withdrawals are minimal today so far. Sleep still sucks and I feel weird but not terrible

Told my husband about my use today

I've been using 7staxx without 7oh for a couple months now. I thought I could jump to SR after a taper and walk away but the SR doesn't seem to help that much if at all. I was finally broke and not willing to start pawning my life away so I told my husband I had a problem and needed help. I will be start Suboxone soon and I'm hoping to hear some success. I'm so sick of using just to feel normal and spending all my money. I need well wishes too. I'm headed to get 7staxx one last time because I can't be sick for my family and kids and I can't see the doctor till tomorrow morning. I feel like an utter POS and failure and my husband is being so supportive and I don't deserve it. I was clean for 12 years before e7oh walked into my life then 7staxx.

Now that mgm is officially banned

It’s time for everyone to make a plan. Hopefully you stocked up so you can taper. Sr is being banned too so hopefully everyone stocked up on that as well.

I wanted to just post this bc the single most helpful aspect of quitting opiates is exercise. You should start before you quit! You have to push yourself and make sure you do something daily for an hour. The endorphins exercise releases is the single most effective thing you can do to repair your depleted dopamine and other hormones. There’s no magic supplement that will do a fraction of what exercise does

You might find your self addicted to exercise which is prob the lease destructive thing out there to be addicted to!

Wishing everyone the best and take a breath and relax. There’s easy ways to get off this stuff and tried and true methods to do so that we have used here successfully!

panic attacks from quitting

I Get really bad Panic attacks when i quit 7oh or mgm15 i’ve been off for a few days. my trigger is my nose being stuffed up i start feeling like i can’t breathe then it beings. does anyone else have these problems also it mainly happens when it gets dark so later in the day. im curious i have helper meds and Im on wellbutrin nothing touches it the only thing that can calm me is talking to someone or maybe a benzo ive never had any to no. ssri helped in the past but time is the only thing that fixed me last year when this happened from 7oh it took 1 1/2 or 2 months to start feeling back to normal and not have attacks.

Has anyone used methadone

I’m aware of all the cons and the horrible long term withdrawal but some of us are on a limited stash with a high mgm habit. I’m clocking 3-500 mg a day.

Has anyone resorted to methadone treatment? Since they only start at 15-30mg how long did it take til they titrated you up enough to cover for high dose mgm withdrawals?

Does anyone have experience with this, instead of just saying it’s a bad idea (I’m already aware it a bad idea but withdrawals aren’t on my menu with the mental health issues and losses I’ve took in the past year to get to this habit anyway after a decade clean from h)

The mme is ridiculous to match morphine, however mgm doses never felt that strong to me. I’m wondering if I get up to like 60-90mg if that would cover me before I run out of mgm to cover the evenings. I’m pretty sure starting doses won’t cover this habit and I’m looking to taper down and try and do 7 to sr but with limited time I’m not sure if it will be possible or if I’ll be disciplined enough.

MGM —> 7oh —> SR

Hey everyone,
This is a scary time to be alive due to the ban of MGM SR and more… I have a plan to get off of mgm to make it minimal. I’ve read that some people have switched to 7oh after tapering mgm down to less than 100mg a day. I have loads of SR and 7oh and will be buying more comfort meds like clonidine. I even got like 2 grams of psuedo because I heard that it helps switching from mgm to 7oh. I’m very nervous and currently I use between 150mg -200mg of mgm a day. I plan to take little amounts every few hours to complete my mgm taper and once I’m down to about 50-60mg a day to switch to 7oh using some pseudo to help. Once I’m on only 7oh I’m gonna do it for about 5-7 days before jumping to SR because I want the mgm to completely be out of my system. I’m pretty confident in this plan but I wanted to reach out and see if anyone else has experience with this type of plan. If you could give me any advice it’d be very helpful… thanks!

Can’t stop thinking about ending my life

I know that probably sounds extreme but I’ve been an addict for about 10 years. MGM and 7oh is just the latest thing I’ve been addicted to but it helped me tremendously with getting off fentanyl. I had tried subs but I kept relapsing. After finding 7oh in 2024 I have barely even thought about heroin or fent. I moved and don’t know anyone to buy it from now. This ban is scaring the shit out of me. I’ve been taking like 700-1000mg of 7stax everyday for nearly a year. I have tried slowing down and quitting at times but I always fail. Coming off of this stuff feels more difficult than getting off heroin was or maybe that’s because it’s been a couple years.

I don’t know how to live without the help of drugs anymore. I’ve been doing it for so long now that I barely have anyone in my life. I haven’t been in a relationship in almost 10 years. I don’t know how to enjoy anything without getting high and I’m just miserable. My parents are dead and it feels like everyday I am just trying to get high enough to not want to jump out of a window. Idk I’m sorry for the rant I’m just scared honestly and don’t have anyone to talk to get this shit out. Im scared to talk to people in my life because they’ll want to put me in a mental hospital. I live just outside of Detroit and the mental institutions around here are fucking awful and feel more like jail.

For all my sisters and brothers who are qoing thru M withdrawals and don't know what to do with the delta receptor, add some mit to your helping meds.

Am I dying?

(Posting here because it keeps getting deleted in absolutely every 7OH related thread I go to, I’m just really concerned and looking for some help if someone has experienced this as well)

First off, I know this is on me so spare me the “well you did this to yourself so whatever happens happens it’s your fault sorry”. I struggle heavily with addiction and have been in a one month relapse so far with 7OH pretty heavy doses, the past few days I kinda dropped the dose and have been having these Pressd 110mg singles bars. For the first few days they were fine no abnormal symptoms, but last night (and right now especially) after taking the dose, about an hour or two later I start to feel this incredibly uncomfortable body heaviness similar to the hypotension blood pressure feeling when trying to move or walk around, but I feel it just laying down, and the second I close my eyes to try to rest or just relax in general, I feel waves of an intense fear and dropping sensation in my stomach and chest, breathing also overall feels much tighter and heavier especially standing, I pretty much can’t get up and move or do anything at all while this is happening. My heart rate gets so so fast with normal activity during all this and lots of random palpitations and odd sensations have started happening.

All of this happens at once within an episode (right now currently it’s the worst it’s been and I feel like I’m dying) and I’ve never had anything like this happen in my entire time using kratom, 7OH, etc… the past two days are the first these episodes started happening and I really don’t want my addiction to be the end of me this easily. Does this sound like a lethal situation?

(These feel completely separate from my panic/anxiety symptoms, and are also the most intense physical symptoms I’ve ever had from a substance negative effects wise)

One week since last dose

At this time last Wednesday I was taking my very last dose of those Buzzer cat claw hidden MGM bullshit…I was terrified, took Thur and Fri off work to give me a 4 day weekend…I will say I got lucky and SR seemed to handle most of the physical but mentally I was a train wreck. I’m a grown man and literally cried on my mom’s shoulder on Day 2….I came clean to her and completely took her by surprise…However after day 3 things slowly starting improving mentally. Sunday was my birthday and gave myself and my family the ultimate gift of getting clean. I am stuck w some serious brain fog, I have been tapering the SR and down to 25mg 3x. Will continue to drop that the next 2 days and stop this weekend. I took a little plain leaf here and there but not much and haven’t touched it in a few days….Long story short I know a lot of people are terrified with this new ban coming. All I can say is at this time next week you could be feeling so much better. Think about how fast this last week went by. Stay busy and get time under your belt. I know I’m not out the woods yet but much better than I was and it feels good to already notice the $50-$60 a day I was blowing stacking up in the account. Good luck to all of you and God Bless. Faith over Fear is something my Mom told me on day 2 and I have kept that in my head since.

I’m so scared and don’t know what to expect.. need help:/

This is a bit long, but I genuinely don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve been in a constant loop of taking subs, making it to day 4-5 then caving.

It’s Wednesday and I’ve been taking Em g Em since Saturday. I’m honestly pretty scared about the withdrawal because I’ve heard it can be much worse than 7oh, and I already struggle with 7 withdrawal.

I’ve been using 7oh almost daily since around January/February. I started with Limitless and originally only needed 50–100mg to get completely blasted. My tolerance gradually got ridiculous, though, and lately I’ve been taking around 400–600mg just to barely feel anything. At this point I’m spending a stupid amount of money without even feeling anything anymore..

My shop started carrying 7MAX Klaz Cat’s Claw, so I tried Em G Em on Saturday. I took around 400mg initially and got extremely high, especially compared to what I’ve been able to feel from 7 lately. That led to me taking it every day since then, and now I’m on day 5.

️I KNOW I NEED TO STOP, but I’m unsure what the best way to do that is. Since my long-term dependence is mainly from 7-OH and I’ve only been using Em for 5 days, would it make more sense to taper off Em g eM, switch back to 7-OH and taper that, or transition to Suboxone?❓❓

I have clonidine, 8mg Suboxone strips, and some Green Hulu kratom capsules available..

I’m especially interested in hearing from anyone who has actually gone through Em withdrawal, particularly after using it for a relatively short period while already being dependent on 7-OH. I’m not looking for judgment—I genuinely want to get off this shit and just want to know what I should expect and what approach has worked for other people.

Suboxone comes today

I haven’t taken mgm since around 5:00 pm yesterday and I took 7oh around 7:30 pm.. nothing this morning. When my subs do arrive can I just take the whole film? The doctor said take a half a film to see how I feel but he also said wait 8 hours before taking it after last mgm dose. I’ve heard conflicting stores on here and I really don’t want to mess this up. Thank you

EDIT FOR MORE CONTEXT: I should have given more context in my post. I managed to taper to 30mg twice a day. I took mgm around 5 pm yesterday and 7oh around 8 pm. I did read 7 doesn’t cause precipitation withdrawal but i am terrified because a few years ago when I was addicted to fetty I threw myself in full precipitated withdrawal and had to pick up my kids from school right after I went into and I could not function. My doctor who prescribed the suboxone told me to wait 8 hours from last dose I believe I’m way past that. But he also said if you do get precipitated withdrawal take more suboxone to knock it.
