Am I dying?

(Posting here because it keeps getting deleted in absolutely every 7OH related thread I go to, I’m just really concerned and looking for some help if someone has experienced this as well)

First off, I know this is on me so spare me the “well you did this to yourself so whatever happens happens it’s your fault sorry”. I struggle heavily with addiction and have been in a one month relapse so far with 7OH pretty heavy doses, the past few days I kinda dropped the dose and have been having these Pressd 110mg singles bars. For the first few days they were fine no abnormal symptoms, but last night (and right now especially) after taking the dose, about an hour or two later I start to feel this incredibly uncomfortable body heaviness similar to the hypotension blood pressure feeling when trying to move or walk around, but I feel it just laying down, and the second I close my eyes to try to rest or just relax in general, I feel waves of an intense fear and dropping sensation in my stomach and chest, breathing also overall feels much tighter and heavier especially standing, I pretty much can’t get up and move or do anything at all while this is happening. My heart rate gets so so fast with normal activity during all this and lots of random palpitations and odd sensations have started happening.

All of this happens at once within an episode (right now currently it’s the worst it’s been and I feel like I’m dying) and I’ve never had anything like this happen in my entire time using kratom, 7OH, etc… the past two days are the first these episodes started happening and I really don’t want my addiction to be the end of me this easily. Does this sound like a lethal situation?

(These feel completely separate from my panic/anxiety symptoms, and are also the most intense physical symptoms I’ve ever had from a substance negative effects wise)

You’re still sober on suboxone (if you know what sobriety truly means)

Not sure if this is considered a vent or criticism towards those who say you aren’t sober on suboxone. But I’ve just felt the need to tell/remind you all that long term maintenance use of Suboxone is still sobriety. Don’t let anyone bring you down or make you feel like you are any less of a recovering person because of it, as long as you’re working daily to do what keeps you in a clear, sober, and strong headspace; then you are indeed a sober recovering individual. There is no uplifting effects beyond literally the first week of starting and even that’s rare in occurrence depending on what your opioid use looked like prior to starting. In fact, I’d say Suboxone is an added challenge to one’s sobriety, not something that takes from it. This shit makes you extra numb, depressed, low motivation and energy, and even blunts the feeling of happiness often. So it’s even more like an added challenge that really enforces the need for recovery skills and coping mechanisms harder, it may reduce cravings and withdrawal, but it by no means makes staying sober a piece of cake, cause like I said it just makes a lot of prominent areas of recovery more challenging then if you were not on it.

Idk who this will benefit but I felt the need to get this out there cause I’ve been told by quite a few the past month that I’m not sober on this medication, when they have no idea how it makes recovery harder in so many ways, not easier.

Thanks for listening 😢

New here, is this a common thing?

Trying very hard to quit, but the biggest thing that gets me every single day is this insane anxiety almost paranoia level fear that I’m going to die or my heart will give out suddenly and go into a random lethal rhythm. I’ve had a lot of weird cold achy sensations across my whole body that come and go, and more palpitations then usual, but I can’t tell if the constant fear of dying suddenly from “each next dose being my last” is realistic or just paranoia from the side effects and addiction itself. It happens when I’m on it the entire time I’m just terrified, and when I’m getting far into withdrawal it’s just as terrifying and pushes me to dose again because my mind still believes it will bring a moment of relief. I just don’t know what’s real or not and I don’t want to die from one wrong dose pushing my heart over the edge or something. When I lay down I literally can’t ignore my heartbeat and have to lay on my right side to avoid feeling it against the bed as much as possible. I hate every second of my life lately and I don’t know how much longer I can honestly go on like this, sorry for being a downer I just don’t know what else to think and figured I’d at least reach out before making any drastic choices.
