A bit of a dumb question but just looking for answers. My brother was addicted to meth. I didn’t think he ever used heroin. I’ve dabbled in drugs so have been around the scene and he was open with me about his usage. Anyway he died about a month ago from a heroin overdose. This was very shocking to me. I always thought most people used either meth or heroin not both. I demanded the cops check the CCTV to confirm he was alone. Which he apparently was, they told me the found both heroin and meth at the scene.
Is this common that people who are using one are also abusing the other?
The weird thing is is that two days prior he told me he loves smoking meth over injecting. Some girl he met had injected him about a year ago and I’m starting to think she injected him with heroin and not meth and he has actually been on both for a while but didn’t want to open up because he was somewhat ashamed.
