I would love someone to be my partner in a Star Wars role play based around the manipulation and corruption of Padme Amidala.
Padme is a promising character within the political world of the galaxy and Palpatine takes notice of that.
Although she was Queen of Naboo, the jump to a galactic Senator was big. She’s youthful, inexperienced and not taken seriously which is why she jumps at the chance to learn and take advice from Chancellor Palpatine himself.
Palpatine simply sees her as a tool and toy to do his bidding in secrecy without suspicion.
This on top of Padme’s eagerness and ambitions to help the galaxy works perfectly for Palpatine.
Palpatine would send her on errands and jobs that could get her involved with other senators, criminals, gangs etc.
Not everything will have been urged by Palpatine. Padme can of course do her own things outside of her job.
Overtime we’d start to see Her personality, morals, feelings, likes and dislikes be tested and change thanks to his scheming.
Will she be fully indoctrinated by him and align herself with him or will she find the will to continue being herself and find out the truth about her teacher?
In the RP I would play Palpatine and the many men, aliens and creatures Padme comes across during her time as a senator and more. I’d be more than happy to include other characters such as Ahsoka, Barris, Ryo Chuchi etc either as side characters or even main characters in Palpatine's quest for power. I'd even be happy messing around with the Cannon and general Star Wars logic to somehow include characters like Rey, Leia, Darth Talon etc.
That was my general idea for a long term slow burn RP with a realistic tone.
I’d like to spend a decent amount of time discussing all things about the rp, not just a few messages and then we start. It doesn’t need to be extremely detailed but at least thought out with the idea of an overarching story.
