SBs - where do you work?

Random observation/question for the SBs here — what do you all do for work?

My guess is a lot of SBs probably work in careers where you meet tons of people, social skills matter a lot, and income is tied to performance or commissions. Feels like there’s a natural overlap there.

I’d assume jobs like bartending, hospitality, nightlife, real estate, tech sales, pharma sales, luxury retail, recruiting, etc. are probably pretty common.

Curious if that’s actually true or if I’m way off.

EDIT: It sounds like I am way off. Many of you are nerds who are spending too much time on a Tuesday morning on a Reddit SLF forum!

Late 40s M SD, new to NYC and enjoying discovering the city!

Generous, well-traveled, and comfortable in my world. I make friends easily.

I like that New Yorkers complain a lot about the city (weather, rent, traffic) but will also respect it vigorously. I am still learning.

“Five minutes away” is more of a mindset than a metric. And somehow, everyone walks with urgency, even when there’s nowhere obvious to be.

Would love to meet an easygoing SB who enjoys being taken care of and knows how to enjoy the moment. A rooftop cocktail, taking salsa classes together, watching the new Seinfeld show?
