How to talk to guys?
Yea, I know it sounds dumb to ask, but hear me out.
My whole life, I’ve been an introverted guy. I do have a close group of friends I met in high school; we stay in touch through online messaging and occasionally meet face-to-face, typically a few times a year. However, I’ve never really had strong social skills. When I want to talk to someone I like, I often feel too nervous or hesitant to make the first move.
As for conversations, I honestly don’t know how to start or keep them going. Usually, I ask about what they do for work or their hobbies, but that’s about it. This worries me because on dating apps, I struggle to maintain a conversation long enough to build interest, and I sometimes get ghosted.
So, I’d appreciate any advice on how to genuinely hold engaging conversations that can develop into mutual interest, without feeling awkward or unsure.
