6WPO before and after

today is six weeks post-op! Still got a ways to go but I feel like I’ve come so far!

this before and after is from January this year and today. Mind blowing to me tbh. Before this top was maybe too small and now it’s maybe too big. I think it’s time to go shopping 🛍️

1 Month Post-Op reflections

Today is one month post-op and I'm truly so in love with my little boobs. Here's some random reflections:

Bought my first string bikini yesterday just grabbed something cute off the sale rack didn't even try it on. I bought a large and imagine my surprise when I get home, try it on, and realize I could have gotten a medium!

The whiplash you experience going from busting out of every top to not being able to fill out every top. Excited to explore the world of push up bras and "chicken cutlets"

I wore one of my dad's old button ups and I actually looked like a girl in a cute oversized shirt instead of Kevin James

Sensation is still not 100% back in my nipples which is ok it can take time. When I do randomly feel its like my brain can't compute what's happening because it's not used to my nipple being so high up

Obviously I know bra sizes are fake and a mindfuck. I was wearing a DD when I was a teen when I should have actually been wearing a G and then I wore that G into adulthood and eventually realized I'm actually a K. At this point I'm measuring as a D cup and I'm like weird but I've just got a handful, D's are supposed to be big. Well not really!

Aquaphor is a miracle ointment

I feel like I was constantly thinking about my boobs before - what to wear, will this fit, is this too revealing, this bra is killing me, my back is killing me. And now I don't think about them - I just put on the clothes and go

I hated how sexualized I was before I felt like some sort of weird sex oddity. The ogling, the catcalling, the fetishization! And I also worried that the source of people's attraction was my chest given the ways in which I've been approached and treated. I was thinking some of that would stop post-op but I still have men slack jawed staring at me on the street which just tells me a.) men are gross duh and b.) I still got it

Only regret is not getting it done sooner! I'm 33 and I think if got this done when I was in my 20s I would have had so much more fun but hey I'm ready to have fun for the rest of my life

Almost 4WPO

I'll be 4 weeks post op on Friday and I'm feeling good! Just dealing with 2 small openings at my t junction and near my nipple but I've been putting aquaphor on them and they're healing fine.

Still sore and swollen from the armpit lipo so I think it'll be a few more weeks until I can fully raise my arms. Having skinny pits is the wildest thing.

I'm so in love with my little boobs! I keep showing them off, everyone in my circle has seen them at this point. I'm gonna be even more of a menace once they're fully healed.

Included a before picture as well. I don't have the exact grams but they told me when I woke up they took off over 5 pounds.

In my waiting era

9DPO and overjoyed with my choice however I feel like I'm going a lil stir crazy. I'm finding it difficult to take it easy. I'm a girl about town and not being able to be about town is bumming me out. I went out this past Friday for a friend's birthday - nothing crazy just sitting at a bar. And when I got home, my incisions were bleeding a little. I think from laughing too much. So trying to force myself to settle down. I feel like I spent the first half of the year waiting to get this reduction and now I'm spending the last half of the year waiting to rejoin society.

Anyway I ordered a midi controller online and downloaded Ableton so I'm about to make some itty bitty titty beats and hopefully keep myself occupied

Before / 4DPO

First shower since surgery and I’m truly blown away by the results. Went to Dr Lisa J Peters in the Chicagoland area and I’m so so satisfied. I told her ”go as small as possible” and “give me fashion titties” and “all the women in my family have big butts and little boobs I want to look like them”. She nailed it.

Over 5 pounds off and then 220 ccs taken from my armpits via liposuction. Majority of my pain is from the liposuction but I’m managing with Tylenol and micro-dose edibles.

Today’s the day!

I’m about to head out the door for the surgeon‘s office and I’m feeling good! Just have the expected pre-surgery jitters but thanks to this subreddit and my friends who‘ve had reductions as well I feel so prepared. The whole process has been demystified, I feel informed, and my expectations are realistic. Shout out to any surgery twins, hope today goes well!

Caught a cold, surgery postponed

Surgery was scheduled for tomorrow but I have a mild cold and they’re postponing my surgery until 7/17. I know in the grand scheme of things it’s what’s best and it’s only 10 more days but I’m feeling down. My time off plan kinda got screwed up and my mom had to rearrange her travel plans (she flew out to take care of me for the first 10 days post op). I’m just so ready to join the ranks of reductionistas! Would love some words of encouragement

On the fence about axillary lipo

hello everyone! first off wanna say this subreddit has been an invaluable source of info as I’ve been navigating all this. surgery is scheduled for 7/7 and my doctor brought up the option of adding axillary lipo. i couldn‘t decide in the moment so I told her I’d think on it and let her know later.

so for those of you that got lipo along with your reduction, are you happy you did?

how was the healing process for you?

and for those of you who didn’t go with axillary lipo too, do you wish you did?

i have about 8 friends who’ve had reductions but only one who got axillary lipo as well so looking for more perspectives. thanks!
