So I’m looking to find my first provider. It’s a learning curve which I appreciate for safety, but is me being disabled affecting my search or is patience and learning how to communicate in this world still part of my learning curve? What’s going through your head when a disabled client is reaching out to you?

For context I was born disabled. Today I wear leg braces and walk with a cane. Can’t drive so I must uber to a future rendezvous. How do I bring that up? When?

My first message usually goes “I’m so and so from blank. I’m a certain age, I’m sorta hefty, and I’m disabled so will need to uber in if that’s ok. Saw your ad on blank, would enjoy your company on blank day and time. Pleasantries.”

Am I info dumping? I just want to make sure I’m doing things right and maybe I’m just overthinking lol
