The last photo contains some wound separation. Okay I apologize in advance for the quality of the pictures. Healing is going well I think, other than the right side of my dick. I think I over did it with the walking and might have just rubbed the skin really raw and eventually caused little holes to form. Also, my body hates “dissolvable” stitches. Even with my top surgery they all eventually got pushed out of my skin instead of staying on the inside and dissolving, so thats probably also adding to the irritation. I’ve started putting manuka honey on it and I am hoping that will help.

Also I think my dick looks like a fish rn. Like one of those wrasses with a bump on its head and I can’t unsee it 😭. I am very curious to see the state of my foreskin once all the swelling has settled.

The bruising & swelling in the surrounding area has gone down a lot. However, as you can probably see, my dick is kinda lumpy? I know it’s still suuuuper swollen so it is kind of confusing to look at rn. I am doing my best to not freak out. I have a post-op appt tomorrow and I will ask about the….shape…..
Crossing my fingers they will remove the Foley catheter tomorrow because it is incredibly painful and urine leaks out around it and overall just a horrendous experience. I commend all of you who get UL and have to deal with catheters longer, you are some strong mfs

A few days ago I had centurion Metoidioplasty with no U/L, vaginectomy, or scrotoplasty, and an abdominoplasty with Dr Peter Raphael. Yesterday at my first post-op they taught me how to change my dressings and gave me and my caregiver a chart to track my medications. Everything is quite swollen and puffy so not much to look at just yet. Will update as things become more visible. I will say, the catheter is by far the most uncomfortable part and hopefully it will come out next Thursday. My outer labia are very swollen so I have not had the chance to get a good look at my dick
