[F4F- Dark Romance] The One Who Got Away
How far would you be willing to go for revenge?
The question sounded simple, almost like someone asking about the weather. Yet the answer was far more complicated than Muse A had originally thought. After all, she wanted to make Muse B pay for what she did to her family… to her sister.
She thought about the way the woman had smiled in the when she practically toyed with her family’s grief. And how she dragged her family name through the mud behind the accusations. She thought about the way her mother cried herself to sleep every night, and how her father looked more like a shell of his former self with each passing day.
And then she thought about her sister how terrified she must have been. That was when it finally clicked for Muse A. There wasn’t a single thing she wouldn’t do to make sure Muse B paid for what she had done. She wanted her to suffer. To feel the same emptiness and grief she had felt the moment she lost her sister.

So, my idea for this prompt is a potential enemies-to-lovers story with a darker, suspenseful edge.
Before I get more into the plot, let me introduce the characters:
**Muse A** — A girl from a struggling, lower-income family who works two jobs just to help keep her household afloat.
**Muse B** — A woman born into absurd levels of wealth. My idea is that Muse A and Muse B live in a medium-sized town where Muse B’s family is basically royalty. They’re one of the founding families, meaning their name is attached to half the buildings in town. Because of that, Muse B is a very well-known public figure.
Now, onto the story.
Muse B and Muse A’s sister had secretly been dating for a little over a year. No one knew about the relationship, though. Muse B couldn’t risk her reputation being “tainted” by publicly dating someone with no social standing.
Still, Muse A’s sister didn’t seem to mind the secrecy. After all, Muse B spoiled her endlessly. Expensive gifts, designer clothes, luxury dinners she even bought her an apartment of her own.
Muse A of course started noticing the sudden change in her sister’s lifestyle and eventually pressed her about where all of it was coming from. That was when her sister confessed everything about the relationship.
She made Muse A promise not to tell anyone, and Muse A agreed. But not long after that conversation, her sister vanished without a trace.
Muse A immediately became suspicious and started pointing fingers at Muse B. To her, the timing was too perfect. But without evidence, the police couldn’t do anything. Any accusations aimed at Muse B were either dismissed or never formally processed at all.
So, Muse A decides to take matters into her own hands.
Because her sister told her everything about the relationship, Muse A knows exactly what kind of women Muse B likes. She studies her habits, changes parts of herself, and slowly becomes Muse B’s “type” in order to get close to her.
The goal is simple: get into a relationship with Muse B, gain her trust, and uncover the truth about what really happened to her sister.
But the real question is: will Muse A be prepared for what she finds?
