Well here goes again...back a little sooner than anticipated, having spent some time talking to somebody I met through this subreddit we established we just weren't compatible. No hard feelings, but it brings me back as I know there IS somebody out there who will be.
A little about me, I'm one of these weird types who has naturally introverted tendencies day to day, however if you put me with my close ones/or once I've figured you out I then display extroverted traits - go figure! If I could explain I would!
I've recently rekindled my love of reading, getting out for walks (I live in a town that has a lot of natural beauty nearby so that helps), of course I love to game (PC and PS5 are my weapons of choice but do also have Xbox and Switch), I play sports/swim and I do make extra effort to find time for my family & friends.
I really enjoy to listen to music, you can't beat going on a drive and listening to your favourite play list or drifting off after a hard days work. You could ask me my favourite genre, but honestly it depends what kind of day I've had and what mood I'm in - I have a list of my favourite 50 songs and to give an example of how varied my tastes are this includes music by The Style Council, Fall Out Boy, Calvin Harris, The Doves, Led Zeplin and Phil Collins!
I'm very talkative (if you haven't noticed already), I enjoy conversations that can switch up at any given moment, I'm all about the banter, the deep chats, the flirty chats, the risqué chats, I like to keep you on your toes. I absolutely desire somebody who will match my energy and effort - there is nothing more frustrating than a dry conversation where only one person is trying - that's no fun for either party.
Physical/appearance wise I'm Caucasian, 5 foot 9, dark hair, hazel eyes, bearded, I wouldn't describe myself as a fitness freak - I definitely have a dad bod so if that isn't your thing I won't be the guy for you, I do have a certain level of fitness (hence the sports I play), I have 19 tattoos (dotted around my arms) and I plan to have to more.
I'm seeking somebody who possesses a similar energy to me - bonus points if you consider yourself to be on the geekier side of life (much like myself). It would be great to meet somebody who doesn't take themselves too seriously and who is open to meeting in person one day. I'm open to making plutonic friends, though I am even more interested in something more physical - whether that be FWB initially or something with the potential to evolve into a long term thing.
I do drive, I'd have a preference to meet somebody within the Staffordshire/West Midlands region - as it makes it easier to eventually meet. This is absolutely not a deal breaker though and if we share the same energy and click then travelling will certainly be something I am open to.
