Hello! My name is May and I have a lot of autism so I'm not really allowed to date anyone. Two days a week I work at a cafe with a work program and three days a week I'm with my group, it's part of a disability organization and we get to go places like the zoo or the museum or the park. It's nice, and I like that I get to see things and not talk much because I don't like talking to strangers. But I wish I had more freedom to go where I wanted and do what I wanted.
I'm 18 now so my friend told me I'm allowed to do whatever I want, and honestly what I really want is to move in with a boy instead of living with my grandma. But my job doesn't pay me enough to pay rent, my grandma still pays for all my food and stuff. So for now I guess what I really want is just a boyfriend, someone who will pick me up for dates and buy me flowers. I want romance and I wanna kiss someone.
I asked a boy on a date once in my group but my group leader said that dating wasn't allowed. My grandma says I can't have a boyfriend because a girl like me shouldn't be around random men. But I tried to tell her it wouldn't be a random man that I would want to find a nice one.
But if I'm 18 and I can do what I want then I I want to find one. I can't download apps so I wanna try this because its a website. I tried to post on other places but it didn't work the posts got deleted or something, so I want to try it here. please help me with what the steps are after this 😄 thank you
