My husband and I have booked a cruise for later this summer, the first one for both of us. I know it's a wide question, but for those that have been on cruises, what are some experiences we should definitely have or not have? Things we should know? Any other tips?

And yes, we are lightly into the lifestyle. While we're not taking the trip to meet up with anyone, we wouldn't necessarily mind having chats with others. For those that have done this before, what's it like? Do you have to actively look, or is it easy to spot?
