Accidentally turned my dom into a sub
My dom (M45) and I (F33) playing together around a year ago. He was really amazing at first (he also happens to be a fearful avoidant with severe attachment issues) but pulled away from the sexual dynamic altogether at around 6 or so months but he kept in contact with me on a friendly level and we got to know each other really well. It really hurt but I did some research into attachment theory and found (not how to manipulate) but to communicate with him in a way that feels safe for both of us. This means I sometimes had to be a little “dominant” or bitchy so he got the point. Anyway he recently realized he was insanely emotionally attached to me and I make him feel safe and so now he is completely submissive for me.
His first experience with this world was when he was in his 20’s and he was a submissive for an older woman in her 30’s. He overtook their dynamic and became a dom and has been one for the last 20 or so years … he said it’s something about me. He’s never had the desire to yield to a sub since his 20s.
Has this happened to anyone? Can anyone explain what he might be going through?
