When did it sink in for you? (Disassociation)?

Idk if I’ve been disassociating all this time or even on and off throughout my sw journey but…

When did it actually hit you like- I AM a sw. This is what I do for work. This is my livelihood. This is my expertise. This is my life. And not exactly in a bad way but just like realization I guess?

Especially doing this full time I feel like the realization hits even more sometimes.

Ethnic providers

I really don’t wanna say this but I have to admit… as a multi ethnic woman I really get so jaded and annoyed with certain customers sometimes. Like idk if it’s a cultural thing but it seems like my own demographic will degrade me and haggle prices more than men outside my race. They want the most for the least, don’t wanna include nice experiences with our dates, always ask for bare, and I’m really considering rebranding myself to attract a different crowd. My best clients are older white men or Arabic men, Chinese etc. It feels a lil weird sometimes because I wouldn’t expect it but they value me not just as a provider but as a human. We talk & negotiate boundaries clearly. They respect my no. They don’t constantly try and push my boundaries. Our dates don’t just revolve around sex. They take me to concerts, spa days, etc. it makes me sad sometimes because it’s like black & Latin men don’t even value their own race of women. And some of these same
Black & Latin men wouldn’t pull half the shit they pull with me on a white provider. No hate. I’m just really saying it like it is. I’m not a rag doll. I’m not a piece of meat. Yes I am a sw but I’m all about an experience. A package. Not just bang me out as hard as possible and u literally don’t know wtf ur doing. And obv it’s not all and I love my people but it’s something I’ve noticed that deeply bothers me. I have great black & Latin clients too but it’s a smaller # of them.
