So firstly. Modesty isn’t your friend.

Uncut and a grower. This has made my journey less straight forward BUT! The support from HZD has been spectacular

I’ve had 2 grips now; I started with the sizing kit which gave me a false sense of where I would be with comfort and sizing starting with a 32mm shaft and 22-24mm glans rings and I panic bought a misprint 30shaft because I thought the 32mm would be too big. (How wrong I was)

Day time wear was fine and the occasional slip out cause me to reduce the glans ring size to 23 from 24. The trouble with that became the overnight erections were terribly painful!

So I had a dilemma of suffer overnights or risk backing out during the day. I then ordered 24 and 25 rings with wings upper and lower to solve the backing out and hopefully alleviate the overnight issue

The trouble I then had was that being a grower, the shaft and inner ring would pull and drag along the frenulum tearing skin. So back to ordering with fren relief!

No dice; the trouble was the too tight shaft was over engorging the glans and the majority of my growth it seems, is the glans dragging everything forward

So upsized to a 34mm and down sized back to the inner 24mm which is so far working well. However as all my devices have been of standard size I still have a slight shortage of space with the hood of the device for overnight erections which was partially anticipated as I also went for the halo hood on my last order

All of this to say, that I now have a pleasant experience of being 7 days down and no issues damage or waking overnight. Though I could probably benefit from a custom hood reprint with a bit more depth…..

I note that the pivot height adjustment also helped with fren issues in bringing everything closer to the “floor” of the tube

So I’ve had the grip for about a month

At first the fren relief worked against me and caused a tear so I opted for the ring without and that improved things

Next was nocturnal erections. Quite painful in the 24mm glans over 32mm shaft. So again upped to 25mm and that seemed to alleviate that problem

Now I’m finding that turtling out is a problem so I’ve gone down to the 30mm shaft with the same 25mm ring. It’s still escapable but requires effort

I want to go longer term wear but the grower in me seems to be preventing it. I’ve also read about some people being able to get a finger width in the shaft which I too can do but overnight, if I reduce the diameter anymore I fear I’ll recreate the same nocturnal problem

Anyone any suggestions ?

Loving the concept
Struggling to make it work

I love the product and have had it on for a couple of days at a time but I’m getting severe irritation of the frenulum

I have ordered new rings without the fren relief as there’s a distinct horizontal cut forming so hoping it’s just that. Not sure if it’s a ring size issue? 32 shaft over 24 glans

Any takes?

I’ve yet to write a review on the website and this is an alt account as I quickly realised my main was personally identifiable

Worn now since it arrived yesterday without a break and overnight. All without any issue.

The freedom of no base ring and ball burn is revolutionary. This feels like the experience I expected at the beginning of my journey all those years ago

As a grower it did work its way to a point overnight where I could pull it off so I dropped to the 22mm ring to prevent that. Will update if nocturnals cause a problem following that update

I would say I barely notice it. And that would be true if not for the heightened excitement of a new cage which will surely subside.

That aside, the usual problems of chaffing, concern over visibility and manoeuvrability are all completely mitigated with the grip. Fully expect to be out running 5k again with a cage on

The extra access for teasing is pleasing the partner and encouraging more engagement than previously enjoyed

And lastly hygiene is another massive plus. Not having everything bolted down to a base ring means using the bathroom is much cleaner and easier. And with simply less material, there’s less sweat and other buildup to occur
