Uncut and a grower. This has made my journey less straight forward BUT! The support from HZD has been spectacular

I’ve had 2 grips now; I started with the sizing kit which gave me a false sense of where I would be with comfort and sizing starting with a 32mm shaft and 22-24mm glans rings and I panic bought a misprint 30shaft because I thought the 32mm would be too big. (How wrong I was)

Day time wear was fine and the occasional slip out cause me to reduce the glans ring size to 23 from 24. The trouble with that became the overnight erections were terribly painful!

So I had a dilemma of suffer overnights or risk backing out during the day. I then ordered 24 and 25 rings with wings upper and lower to solve the backing out and hopefully alleviate the overnight issue

The trouble I then had was that being a grower, the shaft and inner ring would pull and drag along the frenulum tearing skin. So back to ordering with fren relief!

No dice; the trouble was the too tight shaft was over engorging the glans and the majority of my growth it seems, is the glans dragging everything forward

So upsized to a 34mm and down sized back to the inner 24mm which is so far working well. However as all my devices have been of standard size I still have a slight shortage of space with the hood of the device for overnight erections which was partially anticipated as I also went for the halo hood on my last order

All of this to say, that I now have a pleasant experience of being 7 days down and no issues damage or waking overnight. Though I could probably benefit from a custom hood reprint with a bit more depth…..

I note that the pivot height adjustment also helped with fren issues in bringing everything closer to the “floor” of the tube

Hi, I’m looking for a permanent cage for my uncut husband. He will be let out a few times a year for travel/sex, but will otherwise be wearing it 24/7, so we need to make sure it’s comfortable for long term wear.

We have seen reports of frenulum pain for some wearers, and the frenulum relief option doesn’t seem to help. For that reason, we are considering a geometric ring with wings on the bottom to take pressure off the frenulum, and no wings on top to have a snug fit against the top of the glans.

Does anyone else have this combination, and does it work for you? Has anyone had success with a different option? Thanks ❤️

Hey, I recently received the HZD Grip and wanted to share my thoughts on it.

Quality, workmanship, and discreet packaging are all excellent. The sizing also fits very well. I seem to have measured reasonably accurately. I tried it on right away, and the wearing comfort is also great.

I initially used a standard glans ring and found that I could no longer pull the penis out. However, I can fairly easily slide a finger in from the shaft side and pull the glans ring off. After that, I tried both the smaller ring sizes and those with upper wings. Unfortunately, even with the smallest wearable ring that has upper wings, I was still able to remove the Grip. Of course, I keep in mind that once removed, it cannot simply be put back on, because the glans ring sits far too tightly to be worked back over the glans while the cage is in place.

This means that with a strict keyholder by my side who consistently punishes any escape attempts, the Grip would work anatomically for me. I will talk to my wife to see whether she is interested in this cage design.

The design allows erections. This is a major advantage for blood circulation, but a disadvantage for those who prefer a more restrictive wearing sensation. Personally, I really like that my current cage blocks erections.

I cannot yet say whether I can reach orgasm with the Grip without difficulty, as I have not tested this sufficiently.

I find it a pity that, while I can pull on the Grip and have no chance of escaping that way, with a bit of skill it is still possible to strip the glans ring off from below using a finger.

I love the new concept behind the Grip, but I miss the restrictive design of ball-trap devices. I also believe that if the glans ring were combined with a standard cage that covers the full shaft length plus a scrotal ring, it could work truly securely for me. As soon as access to the glans ring from below is no longer possible, the Grip would be absolutely secure against unauthorized removal.

Is there any plan to also release the Grip as a ball-trap device?

I've had requests to add the ability to use the tetherspout glans hood with the glans rings. I've add this as an option when ordering. Just select With Rings: Yes at checkout and you should be able to use both the tetherspout and the glans rings at the same time.

Hoping for some encouraging success stories. What's your longest lock up? How much discomfort do you get when erect?

Personally I have long wanted to order a reprint as I have had some concerns about sizing and don't use mine long term. I know every penis is different so it's no surprise that getting a perfect fit will take some luck on the first try. I have three kink3d cages and have that system dialed in pretty good so I'm not in a rush to spend a ton. Also, I have wanted to watch hzd develop a bit more as new gland rings were in the works last I toyed with my hzd.

I have a 28mm shaft which seems pretty good. I can get a pinky in there when fully flaccid to defeat the ring but I think going tighter isn't going to help with that and and I worry about too much constriction as it's very snug when erect. I don't worry about that much because there's no way it's going back on without the key.

I also have a wide unified 22mm ring with lower wings.

My issue is primarily in the standard matched cap. What I thought was dye transfer seems to potentially be low blood flow to the glans causing purple skin. I have to smoosh things down a fair bit to get the cap on. When I get hard I can see my skin swell into the openings when I "flex" a bit. My corona can also get pinched when putting the cap on.

I guess what I'm saying is, while wear is comfortable enough, I have some concerns about the health of my penis if I were to wear long term. There's some discomfort when I get erect but it's not worse than full morning wood in the kink3d. My issue is that it's different and there's not a lot of data to suggest I'm not wearing a size that could cause a health issue.

Hoping for some people to share their experience and hopefully success stories. If money were no object I'd order 5 kits and then a titanium model from every cage maker but I have to be realistic haha.

So right out of the box it was super clean. Went on with some fuss, probably because I was excited. As of now it's comfortable and I barely notice it on my cock. I'll update further later.

What material should I use to 3d print the kit?

Shop glans rings are either in rigid ABS or flexible TPU, so I was wondering what I should pick for the full print, given that it's the rings and the shafts in one file, and I intend to print it all in one go? Is it fine to print it all in TPU?

I'm also wondering about the safety of having 3d printed plastic on your glans for long durations. Are there any precautions I should take before I put them on, after having them printed?

I have an interesting problem.

The corona of my glans on top is I think more flat than common leading to the glans ring slipping off during erection.

I have tried increasing the space for my glans to expand more but still the ring often slips over the corona ridge as the glans pushes whole cage forward.

Has anyone dealt with and solved this issue? Or any ideas?

hi, I've been researching chastity devices and I'm really interested in the grip. I've heard it's really comfortable and does a good job of keeping the head from really expanding.

on the blog/site it said something about the glans ring being a 'trigger' for a different mechanism, so that instead of all the pressure of restraining the erection being on the glans, it's on the shaft. but either I missed the explanation somehow or it wasn't explained.

so I'm wondering how the grip inhibits erections without just pinching the glans? is it a matter of how erectile tissue expands, so that if the shaft cage stops the shaft from expanding much, it also won't expand or apply pressure that much at the glans (because the erection has to 'expand outwards' I guess?)? thank you : ) I'm just really curious about the mechanics here lol
