New to the reddit and noticed something.

I've seen a lot of posts/comments from fellow subs where they're talking about how they don't think they'll ever find a Dom. I've been submissive literally from the start of my life and would always daydream about a Dom who somehow matched with some of my weirder/niche kinks, and maybe if I was really lucky, she might enjoy the daily power dynamic. Of course the main thing that matters is if you and your Dom genuinely enjoy each others company and how you guys get along/mesh. I was a realist though, I just assumed id never find a partner that matched even 20% of my personality/kinks, so I just stuck to day dreaming.

But guess what? I ended up finding someone who matched me like 110%, we both have the same personality, kinks, we were literally a perfect match for one another. What were the chances? Took me until my twenties (16-25 was just constant hell) to find a partner that I actually felt was genuine for but It was worth every second. Please don't settle or end up pushing your current partners boundaries to try and shape them into what you want.

I've had a decent bit of luck interacting with dominant women throughout my life. Here's a few tips that might help.

Don't go out looking for a femdom or anything like that. (Unless you just want hook-ups) But from talking to several of my female friends, they all told me they tend to avoid people that are just in it for one thing. Events hosted by your local kink community are probably your best bet to find someone that you can connect with locally/in general.

Just because your kink is submissive in nature, does not allow you to automatically assume that the Dom is getting enjoyment from it. It can be really easy to end up being selfish as a sub if you're not careful. Always make sure they're getting all their needs met! Don't just immediately word vomit your kinks to whoever you're talking to.

Possibly work on your appearance! I got SO much more interest from more dom women when I would dress a little softer. Cuter softer clothes, maybe get yourself a cute or fun hairstyle. I pretty much just went against a lot of traditional male norms/tropes, I avoided being hyper masculine at all. I made sure I was always submissive in tone and vibe. A few doms have mentioned that I give off such a strong sub/puppy energy. I'm guessing it was due to me avoiding being assertive, i usually ended up being supportive and timid and that's worked great for me.

You guys will find your match! You to doms^^
