Hi, for everyone who has gotten the extended meta surgery with Özer: how long after the surgery were you sent home?

My grandma died this morning and the funeral will be the day after my surgery, so for logistical reasons I need to know when I'll be likely sent home (and the hospital does not answer the phone).

Edit: I'm not planning on attending the funeral, but a family member needs to pick me up and he wants to know whether he can attend the funeral or not.

Hi, I'm getting the extended meta with Özer this August, but I have unfortunately lost all the notes I've taken about the aftercare info she gave me during our appointment.

So I'm wondering if anyone could give met the following details (doesn't have to be exact, an approximation/story from your own experience is fine!):

- Details about the dressings you have to apply to your wounds: how often did you have to replace them? Was that difficult? Did you need someone to help you with that?

- Did they prescribe you painkillers after the surgery or did you use over-the-counter pain meds?

- How long did you stay in bed after the surgery? When were you able to start moving a bit again?
