🪑 The Corner: Introduce Yourself / Find Someone to Chat With

New here? Bored? Skiing? Can't sleep? Just feel like talking to somebody?

This is the ongoing community hangout.

Drop a comment with whatever you feel like sharing:

Age / general location if you're comfortable 🎿 What you're up to tonight 🎧 What you're listening to 💭 What's on your mind 🤔 A question for whoever replies 💬 Or literally just say hi

You don't need to be using to participate. People taking breaks, people in recovery, and people who just enjoy the community are welcome too.

A couple of things:

Keep it on Reddit unless both people independently choose otherwise. Never send money or trust someone claiming to be a vendor.

And remember what this community is for:

Chatting ≠ cruising.

Looking for somebody to talk or ski with is fine. Turning the thread into hookup/PnP/sexual-partner ads isn't.

Other than that, pull up a chair and meet somebody. 🪑

Welcome to r/cocaine_corner. Pull up a chair.

This community is for conversation, stories, questions, support, harm reduction, recovery, and the random shit people end up talking about at 3 AM.

The idea is pretty simple:

Come here to talk to people — not cruise for them.

🎿 Looking for a ski buddy to chat with? Cool.

💬 Want a clean conversation? Great.

🌀 Have some ridiculous thought you need to tell somebody? Let's hear it.

🍿 Got a story? Pull up a chair.

🌱 Taking a break or in recovery? You're welcome here too.

🧠 Have a harm-reduction question? Ask it.

What we're not trying to become is another wall of hookup requests, PnP posts, sellers, Telegram accounts, menus, and people fishing for sexual DMs.

Sexual topics themselves aren't forbidden. We're adults. There's a difference between talking about sex and using the subreddit to find it.

Same goes for drugs: discussing cocaine is obviously the point. Buying, selling, sourcing, or helping someone find it isn't.

Please give the rules a read before posting. We've tried to keep them straightforward rather than writing a fucking terms-of-service agreement.

Most importantly: talk to each other.

Welcome to the Corner. 🪑

🛋️ Friday Community Check-In

What a week!

Over the last 7 days:

👥 +265 new members (2.5k total!)
👀 40.6k views

We've been seeing more:

  • random conversations
  • people checking in
  • people sharing stories

One thing we’ve noticed lately:

Reddit’s automated filters have also been catching some normal posts and comments from time to time (especially in communities like ours).

We occasionally review recent removals and restore obvious false positives — but we won’t catch every one.

If you think your post or comment disappeared by mistake, send us a modmail, and we’ll take another look.

Happy Friday 🫡

🛡️ Community Check-In

Quick look at the last week:

Members 👥 +234 members

Posts/Comments 📝 170 posts published
💬 371 comments published
🗑️ 88 posts removed (mostly spam, sellers, scammers, bots, and low-effort bait)

We've been enjoying seeing more stories, random questions, AMA-style posts, people hanging out, people venting, people checking in, and people meeting people they probably wouldn’t have otherwise.

We're still cleaning up spam, seller behavior, scams, vague solicitation, and low-effort bait.

The goal isn’t to remove more content.

The goal is to make it easier to find real interaction and reduce posts that feel misleading, transactional, or immediately turn into Telegram menus and weird DMs.

One thing we're curious about:

Do you guys actually enjoy these community check-in posts?

If yes, what else would be interesting to include?

Bump and a Beer for Breakfast?

Woke up with a headache. What better remedy than a bump and a beer for breakfast? I'm just chilling for a little bit before I start the day, if anyone wants to chat. DMs are open!

Community Update | Last 7 Days 🛡️

Over the last week:

Cleanup:

🗑️ 99 posts removed 🧹 70 comments removed

We’ve also been working on improving the community with:

  • Better spam and seller filtering
  • Updated moderation logic to review posts that may be solicitation or engagement bait

One thing we’re trying to do differently here:

We want this subreddit to feel less like endless bots, OF bait, vague solicitation, and low-effort posting — and more like actual conversation, stories, chat, discussion, and community.

That means we’ve started reviewing posts that look like engagement bait or unclear solicitation attempts. Chat requests and partying are still allowed — the goal is to reduce posts that feel misleading, transactional, or lead to seller/scammer behavior.

Whether you're here to talk, laugh, vent, ask questions, share experiences, party, or even talk about taking a break or quitting — there should be room for that here.

The goal isn’t to remove more content. It’s to keep the subreddit easier to browse and make interactions feel more real.

If your post gets removed by mistake, message the mod team and we’ll review it.
