Are RT Groups still a thing?

I did OF in 2024 and want to start back up. Back then, retweet groups were HUGE! I created my accounts back up from 0 and wanted to create my own retweet group as I haven’t seen many. My only fear is that retweet groups became extinct because of the new updates on x/twitter since then about spam etc.

Could anyone update me please?
