okay i might be massively overthinking this but im brand new and keep going back and forth on this 😭

i originally set my page at $7.99/month and figured id post regularly on the wall and then occasionally send extra PPV stuff.

but now im seeing sooo many girls with free pages where the wall is more tame/teasing and then the actually spicy stuff is locked individually, and honestly that makes sense to me too??

part of me thinks free would be easier when you're starting from literally 0 because people can actually come in and see what you're like before spending anything. but then i also don't want to build up a ton of free followers who never buy anything lol

for anyone who's tried both, what actually worked better for you? especially when you were starting out? and long term do you prefer having monthly subs or free + PPV?

genuinely curious because i keep convincing myself one is better and then changing my mind 20 mins later 😂

I used to be able to freely post in a few different subreddits to promote. Now it’s almost impossible to post anywhere without all these extra steps or without an older account or low karma. Reddit was great for promoting since I don’t use any social media platforms to promote just for privacy reasons. Anyone have any tips or know of any subreddits that you can freely promote in?

My worry is the postmark. I’m from a small town so is there a better way to send them safely?

Within the last month, I made my return to OF after ditching my account about 5 years ago (around the time fansly popped up). At this current moment, I'm in the top 26%. Does touting this statistic have any impact on advertising? Do buyers actually care if you have a high percentage (low percentage I guess?) or is it more of a middle finger/humble brag to other creators? Did it ever have an impact on public perception or did only people in the sphere give a shit about the number?

I typically do a monthly promo but is it better to run weekly to drive more messenger traffic?

I've just been reading and researching and seeing if this might be for me.

The niche I was aiming towards was more of a healthy lifestyle vlog/transformation/private spicy content. I started with making my reddit and am just chatting, looking over what others are doing, getting comfortable. I haven't had any expectations and haven't started my OF.

What caught me by surprise is the amount of guys I've talked to that say they are excited and to send the link when I'm ready. No asking for anything, very polite, various versions of acknowledgement that I'm a person/not an object, ect. 90% of these messages are from YOUNG guys, like 18-25. It's been like a month, they've made some content requests and check-in to see if I have a launch date and what pricing they should expect. It's not just a few, it's dozens. I would assume most of them will fall away asap, but what is going on? Is this normal?

Is it wrong to post custom videos/pictures on my OF or Fansly that someone has requested for themselves. The person did not specify if they want the content to be just for them or that I can’t post it on my pages. But I just want to know what yall think and what would you do?

Recently I haven’t had the best month in sales for the month of August. I have had several subs get upset with my pricing, or they’re too emotional like they treat it like a dating app.
Have anyone experienced a sub that gets in the feels?

I wad also wondering about how often people post to their OF? Should I post everyday? Should all my posts be nudes? My account has a subscription fee.

I’ve heard that because it is summer, traffic is slow, not much traction or attention. Is that true? I get bits and pieces of attention on Fansly, none on OF and a lot on Twitter. I read the creator guide on Fansly, am consistent with posting and idk. I’ve made only about $100 and I feel pathetic kinda. I’ve been doing this since the end of May. like I’m just curious for those who have been doing this for a while, is summer typically a slower time?
