Pineapple Cup V Pineapple Cup

Decided to grab some TEG Pineapple Cup to compare to the Crysp Pineapple Cup I had.

I can confidently say they're the same biomass; the taste is nearly identical, as is the nose. The processing (and/or storage/handling) while similar is also very slightly different; the texture of the TEG is just a bit drier but a touch lighter, the Crysp is wetter and just a little bit darker, and this trend follows with the Qtip swabs.

For reference, I kept the TEG on the right-hand side and the Crysp on the left-hand side of each image. Dabs were a similar size, taken with the same heating profile on a Dr. Dabber Switch 2 with a sapphire plus insert.

For me, these two tie at 9.8/10; if I had to give a slight edge, it would be to the TEG just because it wipes a bit lighter, but in terms of effects and flavor, they're almost identical for me.

Considering I got the Crysp for ~$15/g less than the TEG, I really wish I had grabbed a few more grams for the freezer when it was available!

Eden Solventless Stay Puft again

This has stood up surprisingly well considering it was packaged in January.

Would happily buy again on sale. Full-price rosin in this area still leaves me a bit annoyed though.

Trying out Eden Solventless Stay Puft Live Rosin

Another good rosin from Eden. Still has good flavor despite being almost 6 months old.

I'll need to see if I can find some Evermore soon to compare.

First time trying Eden Solventless

Memorial weekend sale brought the price down to an acceptable level (though still more than I'd like to spend). Figured i'd give it a shot since I normally stick to cheaper stuff, treat myself to something better for once.

It's very flavorful and not in the perfumed, artificial way. I'll probably buy more next time there is a good sale near me. I can't see myself paying out at "normal" retail price though.

Normal price was $75/g, sale price was $52.50/g.
