“Hey, you got Snap?” is not an introduction

I genuinely hate when men approach with nothing but “hey, you have Snapchat?” because it immediately tells me you probably didn’t read anything I wrote. My posts are pretty clear about what I’m looking for, so when the first priority is moving to Snap, I automatically assume you’re more interested in buying content or getting pictures than actually being an SD.

Maybe I’m biased, but Snapchat also feels really immature to me. I didn’t even use it when I was in high school, so I definitely don’t want it to be the foundation of an adult arrangement now.

If you’re genuinely interested, just introduce yourself like a normal person, tell me what caught your attention, and what kind of arrangement you’re looking for. It really isn’t that difficult.

Am I weird for having a hard no-nudes boundary?

Mini rant because I’m starting to feel like some of these men do not actually understand what being an SD means. I’m completely open to meeting in person once we’ve talked, verified each other, and agreed on an arrangement, but I do not send nudes or sexual content to strangers online.

What keeps happening is they’ll talk about wanting “connection,” “mentorship,” “companionship,” and a real arrangement… then the second I say I want the sexual side to stay in person, suddenly they lose interest. At that point it starts feeling less like they want a sugar relationship and more like they want discounted content from someone they haven’t even met.

I’m not anti-intimacy at all, I just don’t want my body sitting in some random man’s camera roll before I even know who he is. Is this actually uncommon in sugar dating, or am I just running into the wrong men?

18F | Looking for a serious, established SD | mentorship, support, and genuine connection

(2nd time posting in this sub, In the US)

I just turned 18, and I’m looking for a serious, mutually beneficial arrangement with someone who is genuinely established and successful.

I’m especially interested in men who are high-achieving in fields like tech, entrepreneurship, investing, or business (someone who can not only provide financial support, but also offer mentorship, perspective, and help me grow into the life and career I’m working toward.)

A little about me: I’m very busy and family-oriented. I help take care of my six siblings, and my family is currently living in a one-bedroom home. One of my biggest goals is creating a more comfortable situation for myself and continuing to build my career. I’m currently learning coding and working toward eventually creating my own projects/businesses, so I’m especially drawn to someone ambitious who understands that world.

I’m not looking for small, casual arrangements, random hookups, or johns. I want someone financially secure who is comfortable genuinely investing in an arrangement and in the person they’re with.

I value consistency, generosity, respect, chemistry, and good conversation. I’m open to meeting in person once we’ve talked, established trust, and agreed on an arrangement that works for both of us.

Serious inquiries only. Please introduce yourself properly and tell me a little about what you do, what kind of arrangement you’re looking for, and what you can realistically offer.
