First time trying the La Lealtad. I recieved a box yesterday. I’ll add my thoughts in the comments while I smoke it.

Just out on the lounge chair by the pool under the plumerias in the corner of my property. Toddler napping, wife at the salon, light breeze blowing. Perfect quiet time. I was craving this moment all week after reading a post about if you prefer to smoke alone or with company? I commented that I prefer cigars alone better and prefer company more with cigars and that seemed to get more upvotes than I thought. It makes you think how cigars are purchased with one guarantee, about an hour of forced relaxation. Someone else said it better in either another post or comment or maybe it was something I read recently on someone else’s blog or newsletter. Either way, it’s true.

Lit up the Padron Natural no.1 I’ve had resting for probably over a year now. Smooth draw right away, creamy smoke.

First third: white pepper, toasted nuts, cedar, and a touch of vanilla cream. Nice and balanced.

Forgot my ashtray, so I’m ashing on the ground like an animal. Don’t care, too relaxed.

Now in the middle: more roasted nuts, leather, and dark chocolate coming through strong.

Last third: espresso and wood. Burn stayed perfect the whole time.

Almost done after an hour and a half. Stress is gone, head’s clear.

As predicted and to no surprise, Padron is a solid stick for unwinding.
