What got you to try opiates in the first place?
I’m interested in knowing what got this group to try opiates. Were they prescribed pain killers, experimenting with drugs for fun, not knowing what you had was an opiate, depression?
As someone who’s never done them and would never try them unless I was in chronic pain and authorised by a doctor, it interests me why people take such a potential life changing drug. My theory is that most of you will have tried them as pain relief from a doctor. If it was from a doctor, did you get addicted?
If you wanted to try them for fun, were you educated on them before you tried them or was it in the past when less understanding to opioid medication was around, and if you knew the potential consequences to taking them, what made you take them anyway?
