Ownership

Master,
my submission is not the absence of myself.
It is the part of myself
I place in your hands willingly and openly.

Journal Entry 007 | The Quiet Religion of Him

Journal Entry 007 | The Quiet Religion of Him
There is a kind of love that asks to be spoken, and then there is the kind I feel for my Master. The kind that makes ordinary love feel too small a word for what lives inside me.
To love him properly, I have learned that I have to worship him.
Not in some dramatic, theatrical way. Not only on my knees, not only through grand gestures, not only when submission feels beautiful and easy. I mean worship in the simple things. In learning the sound of his tiredness. In remembering what he likes without needing to be reminded. In making his day softer where I can. In listening the first time. In keeping my word. In protecting the peace he creates for us.
Sometimes worship looks like obedience. Sometimes it looks like patience.
Sometimes it is a quiet “Yes, Master” when my pride wants to argue.
Sometimes it is anticipating his needs before he ever has to ask.
It is choosing to serve him with the same care when no one sees it as I would if the whole world were watching.
Because I do not want my submission to only be impressive. I want it to be useful.
I want him to feel my love in the smallest details. In the way I prepare things for him. In the way I pay attention. In the way I receive correction without making him fight me for the authority I already gave him. In the way I study the man beneath the title, because worship without knowing who you are worshipping is only performance.
I think that is the lesson I am learning most.
A slave can kneel beautifully and still fail to serve.
Worship is not the position of my body. It is the position of my heart.
It is waking up and asking myself, How can I honor him today?
How can I make his leadership lighter?
How can I become more disciplined, more attentive, more trustworthy?
How can I love him in a way that does not simply consume from him, but pours something back into him?
I love the grand moments too. The rituals. The words. The weight of belonging to him.
But I think the deepest worship happens when nothing dramatic is happening at all.
It is in the glass of water placed beside him.
The task completed before he asks twice.
The phone put away when he is speaking.
The softness in my voice.
The restraint in my reactions.
The pride I take in representing him well.
The discipline to care for what belongs to him, including myself.
Maybe that is what being completely in love with your Master eventually becomes.
You stop asking only how deeply you can feel for him, and you start asking how faithfully you can serve that love.
And if I am going to belong to him, I do not want to belong to him carelessly.
I want to love him deliberately.
Reverently.
Daily.
In all the little ways that quietly say:
You are precious to me, Master.
And serving you is one of the ways I know how to prove it.

Barcelona Gave Me Tapas, My Master Gave Me Homework

We just got back from Barcelona, and I think the biggest thing I brought home was a deeper perspective on this position we play as submissive’s.

Every night, my Master gave me homework (I know, but it had purpose) Sometimes I understood it right away, sometimes I didn’t. Then the next day we’d be walking through the city, visiting some historic site or seeing something that had taken years to build, and suddenly the lesson made sense.

Barcelona made me think a lot about legacy. About patience. About discipline. About how anything meaningful takes time.

Submission feels the same way to me. It isn’t just about what happens behind closed doors. It’s something I carry with me. I can travel the world beside my Master, laugh, eat good food, see beautiful places, and still remember my place.

That doesn’t take away from the experience. It actually makes it mean more.
I came home with pictures, memories, and a deeper understanding of what we’re building together.

Wishing you all a pleasant week. 💕

Journal Entry 002

There’s something about the pain that feels like love to me.
Every lash hurts, but somehow there’s pleasure buried inside it. The yelps, the tears, the way my body reacts before my mind can even catch up—it all feels like a release. Like I’m letting go of something I’ve been carrying.
There’s a strange comfort in knowing the person holding the power understands the trust I’m giving them. Sometimes love isn’t spoken. Sometimes it’s felt in the sting, in the tears running down my face, in the moment I finally stop fighting the feeling and just surrender to it.
And afterward, when everything gets quiet, there’s this calm. This feeling of being emptied out in the best way.
Maybe that’s what I love most about it.

I’m thankful every reminder

💕
