Hey y'all! I'm hoping to get some advice about how to feel more comfortable in a dominant role with a subby man.
I identify as a switchy brat, with more experience as a sub. I've recently found myself with a sub/little-leaning play partner. I realized I enjoy femdom, but I'm at a loss for how to incorporate the dynamic more naturally without needing it spelled out for me. I always end up feeling like two subs in a trenchcoat playing pretend rather than a truly competent domme. I do communicate with my play partner, and he's been very sweet and supportive, but I would love to feel more confident in bringing my own dominant side to the forefront without relying on his guidance for everything. I feel like needing so much hands-on guidance ends up kind of undercutting his ability to just be a little, and the experience I really want to give him when I'm acting as his domme. Of course, I realize each sub and each person is different; I just really value learning from different perspectives. I'd love to learn from kind folks here and hopefully be able to integrate some of that into my own play.
I'd specifically appreciate insight from men/masc folks who identify as subs/littles, as well as women and fem dom(me)s on what works for you in your dynamic. What makes y'all tick, what do you look for in a domme, phrases/tasks/acts/scenes/sessions, anything and everything!
