[F4A] looking for new stories

22+ long form fandomless writer + ghost friendly + slow/sporadic activity

hello, dipping my toes back into the hobby once more as a writer who is recently coming off hiatus to shake off the rust off her fingertips. ive got a decent amount of experience (about 10 years at this point in time) and i find myself crawling back to this hobby and hoping to be accepted with open arms. i know i seem stuffy but i am a huge chatty cathy and love to plot + multi-muse and create a lovely little world.

romance for me is a must, even if its not the forefront. i love pairing up our little goobers together and watch them interact. my favorite pairing is mxm but i am happy to write all genders + pairings, i would like my partner to do the same.

on that note, most if not all of my muses tend to lean male. however, i dont mind making characters up for the specific plot we create. i want to consume and sink my teeth into these characters. i want them to be morally wrong or grey. i want to have a fleshed out tale that lasts more than a week or so.

trinkets, tropes, and timelines near and dear to my heart:

-> anything noir. detectives and criminals. thrillers and chillers. people embroiled in scandals no civilian should bear witness to.

-> religious themes, guilt and/or trauma. false prophets. false ideals. an unaware followers is the best one. or a priest who does not believe in the very god he is the voice of.

-> age gaps. old (wo)man guilt. young (wo)man guilt. "we shouldn't, but i want to". common ties that shouldn't bring them together.

-> office settings. a crazy cast of characters that can be spun up with other themes. (something like severance? yes please).

-> fantasy. knights, armies, prince(sses), mages, demons, otherworldly/folkloric creatures in a world where souls tie the knot and sigils are binding.

-> weird, liminal spaces, trippy feelings and confused characters. unreliable narrators. what is real? what is fake? a truman show experience.

-> supernatural. vampires, werewolves, selkies, creatures of the night existing in either modern planes or in their own rightful world.

-> hybrids. canines and animalistic desires. where society errs more into its dog-eat-dog behaviors. (i feel inclined to specify here, but im talking mainly animal-like traits such as ears, tails , or scales and personalities on humans.)

-> horror. teeth and tongue and death and fear and forgiveness.

-> anything character study related, let me peek inside your oc's brain.
