Excited

I’m so excited I just had to post somewhere because I can’t tell my partner since I’m inducing as a surprise. (Which I’m kind of nervous about too lol) but anyway the last two or so pumps today my breasts felt so tight especially my right one to the point that it felt like something NEEDED to come out but nothing did. Well after my last pump, my nipples were definitely wet! I’ve been noticing how much fuller they’ve been and have had other symptoms but was starting to be discouraged a bit but I definitely had wet nipples today!!!

Inducing and your period

So I got my period on April 10th and then around maybe April 23rd I started bleeding again but not due for my period obviously. I thought it was just spotting since it was super light but ended up lasting the same amount of time as my period does. Is it normal to get your period that early while inducing lactation? I know it affects your hormones but it seemed a bit strange to me. Especially since I’m also on the mini pill. I know that doesn’t really affect ovulation since there’s no estrogen but I’m super confused. I’m due today but don’t really feel like I’m getting it today (if you know, you know lol) any help is greatly appreciated!

Did I lose progress?

I’ve been having super strong letdowns for the last few days especially after switching to a non-wearable pump but no liquid yet besides maybe some moisture on my nipples occasionally. I noticed my one nipple specifically was a little swollen in one spot last night and a bit sore but nothing unbearable. But today during pumping, I barely feel a let down at all or anything really including fullness and pressure. Did I somehow just stop or lose progress?

I guess I’m just venting real quick but it’s so frustrating feeling the effects of inducing lactation but not seeing actual drops yet. I’ve been feeling swollen throughout the day in between pumps and my let downs are fairly quick but I don’t really see any liquid yet. Maybe a little shine on my nipple but that’s it. I know it takes a while but I’m so impatient. I kept waking up last night because I felt the pressure in my chest.

I’ve been inducing lactation for a few months but have been super inconsistent due to scheduling stuff. I’ve been trying to focus more on my schedule and fitting pumping in and the last day or two my breasts have felt pretty heavy. I woke up in the middle of the night last night feeling like I had to massage them and when I woke up in the morning, they felt a bit strange. Like maybe full and hand expressed for about 5 minutes. Nothings coming out yet and I feel like I’m a bit obsessed and can only really think about when my next pump is or needing to squeeze my breasts and hand express. Is this normal?
