My first time cap - review

Hi everyone! This summer was my first time at the village, so I thought I’d share a little review of my experience.

I stayed from the end of July to the beginning of August, just outside the village (about a 1 km walk). Since I didn’t want to go alone as a solo woman, I brought a guy friend with me.
We initially parked our car outside the village, but the next morning we moved the car inside, near the beach on Blvd des Matelots. This turned out to be very useful as a kind of “locker” for clothes and shoes when going out at night.
During the day, we mostly stayed at the beach, then had dinner around 6–7 pm and went home to get ready for the night.
My first impression of the village was that seeing so many (half)naked people walking around was a little intimidating. But taking my clothes off at the beach was much easier than expected. Nobody judges you, and there’s actually a great feeling of freedom.
We mostly stayed around Port Nature, and only towards the end discovered that Heliopolis also has a gallery with restaurants and shops.

We went out every night, mostly to the bars around port Ambonne. Lots of people wearing their sexy clothes, especially women. We visited Melrose, La Casa, Eros and Istar. I won’t review them individually, but we had fun at all of them.
We also tried the Glamour Beach Club. It was quite busy, but honestly, it wasn’t really my cup of tea. Plenty of action going on and I noticed that the younger generation were not fully naked but wore sarongs and bikini bottoms.
On Saturday, we went to the Glamour Club. It was packed, and we waited around 30–40 minutes to get in. I followed the suggested dress code (“open” clothing and high heels), although many women weren’t dressed that way and were still allowed in. I also noticed quite a few solo guys entering. Looks like it was a busy weekend and they let a lot of people in.
The club has a dancing area upstairs and the more libertine area downstairs, with separate rooms. Although some people were participating, most seemed to be watching, almost like a sightseeing tour.

We also went to Jardin de Babylone, which I personally enjoyed more than the Glamour Beach Club. Nice atmosphere, good music and a pool in the middle.
Finally, we tried the new Vibes rooftop party, with a “cuddle” area and a restaurant/bar area where the music and dancing start in the evening. Nice place, I did notice that the crowd was more leaning on the older side.

For the food, we only ate inside the village. Prices were reasonable overall, and the food was generally good. Our favourite was Gipetto in Heliopolis, good food and very reasonable prices.

Regarding the cost for two people, we spent roughly:
€1,000 for the apartment outside the village for 5 nights.
€120–150 per day on food.
€12–15 per cocktail.
Around €200–240 per day in total for food and drinks.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and especially liked the naturist side of Cap. Although I read a lot of topics on this page, I was less prepared for the libertine side.
Almost all our conversations with other couples quickly turned towards the libertine subject, even when we were simply trying to meet people and chat. We often felt that people were interested in taking things further.
I also found consent/approach dynamics something to be aware of as a first-timer. Sometimes a simple smile seemed to be interpreted as an invitation, followed by touching the arm or hips.
Despite that, I had a great holiday and would definitely go back, but this time inside the village and with a better idea of what to expect next time!

Accomodation outside the village safety question

Hi,
for my first visit, I could only find an apartment just outside the village that fits my budget for July. It's about a 15-20 min walk from the village reception.
I was wondering how safe it is to walk back outside at night as a solo woman. Are there usually a lot of drunk people around, or is it generally pretty calm ?

Thanks!
