Stick with GCs or Go Urban?

Baby dancer here. Started at a GC a few weeks ago and on top of it being a painfully slow slow season, customers barely want a dance let alone a room. Plus I’d kinda prefer a club where stage tipping is the norm. Should I just give the urban clubs a try or stick it out with GCs? An in between? I do a bit of beginner pole work too. Nothing major yet.

Slow EVERYWHERE?

I probably picked the worst time of year to be looking for a new apartment lmao. Everywhere has 15+ girls to maybe 3-5 customers. Is it just slow season or is the east coast getting hit particularly hard because it’s been ROUGH?

Hired?

I went and auditioned at a club for the first time like I said I would. Auditioned on a TINY 1x1 square stage. 3 songs. Dress on. Topless. Dress all the way down. Manager said I did really good. He liked my look. Took my information down. Told me to come back in two weeks because the club has been super slow lately. Is that a soft hire?? Still gonna hit a few more spots. I gotta get my hustle up this month lol

New Girl in NYC/NJ

Hi girlies!!!! Baby dancer here in NYC auditioning this week(end) trying to figure out if it would be better to stay in the city (Midtown-ish) or venture out into the other boroughs, LI or Jersey. Can’t seem to get a good gauge on which spots are Black girl friendly.
