Hi everyone, i recently got hired at a strip club and this is my first time dancing. Does anyone have tips for confidence when approaching customers and a general idea of what to say to keep conversation flowing. On my audition day i stayed for a shift and found i struggled with keeping conversations flowing without playing 21 questions 😂. Also any self care tips to know as a new stripper. I struggle with ingrown hairs that are impossible to get rid of and come back so quickly if i do manage to. Thank you <3

Is it normal for the clubs pressuring dancers into signing photo release agreement forms? They are like you can refuse to take a pic, but you gotta sign the paper. I have been given that form in retail work as well and typically they don’t mind me not signing it. I refused to sign that one and I was I’m not okay with my pics to be taken and published publicly at this time. When I went to the club the manager looked at me and he was like we gonna fast track your application and get u in tonight, ask me to grab my stuff from my car so I can get ready and get on the floor, after I’m done with reading and signing the packet and asked the front door girl about the photo release form, and her informing them, they turned me away. I’m feeling very upset now. I’ve been to many clubs the past few days, either they turn me away for tattoos/piercing or low experience, they take me in but the club is not good (too slow and pressuring girls to do extras).

Edit to title: *I brought up Hey babes, I’m working at a club in Houston, my first shift here and my second shift ever. After he showed me around in the club, I asked if it’s a no touching place and he totally freaked out, he was like “you can set your boundaries but if I get too many complaints about you Imma let you go. It’s a strip club, men are gonna get excited and wanna touch you. Have you ever danced in a club before? Do you know how it works?” I was explaining I mean they can grope me and assault me, and he is like yeah it’s no sex, that’s illegal but they are gonna want to touch you. Look at there (pointed at a dancer siting on a customer’s lap, grinding on him, facing him). He called a female bartender next, told her look at what she says, I don’t think it’s gonna work out she is freaking me out. And the bartender was also acting in shock I asked this and she said “I have never had this conversation with anyone at a strip club before, have u danced before?” I don’t even know why they freaked out so bad, i kept on explaining I should be able to communicate my boundaries and all I’m saying is like that can’t randomly grope or finger me, They said you can communicate it but it will affect your money and if we get too many complaints we gonna have to let you go. He made a whole scene outta my question, maybe I could have asked differently, i tried to explain many times, idk why he freaked out so bad and offered to refund my house fee. I’m confused, and everything feels weird. Been sitting here for over an hour now, barely anyone is dancing, old guys come in girls go kiss their face/hands, sit with them lol

So I’ve been practicing for about a week now. I know a couple of tricks and I feel pretty confident. I don’t know anything insane. But I think that I can make it work. Do I need to know any like insane pole tricks to pass an audition? I was planning a private lesson for today and then auditioning tomorrow but my lesson got canceled. Should I wait or should I go ahead and audition tomorrow?

A few nights ago at this new club, another girl suggested I introduce myself to a regular like 10 mins before closing. After he’d warmed up, she came back around and suggested we do an after hours room (which I didn’t even know was a possibility since again I’m brand new!!). In turn, I told him to take us both in the room and it seemed like he was down, but I lost track of what happened after the host got involved and ended up doing the room myself.

This other girl has been at the club for a long time and has been giving me free game left and right. This seemed like a huge favor and I feel bad that she didn’t get anything out of it. Maybe it’s not that deep and she just wanted to get home but idk.

(How) should I address this the next time I see her? I just want to avoid any drama/lingering feelings of obligation.

Hi everyone! I hope to gain some sympathy or advice as i have been working to save up to audition for a club closest to me. Time is running out for me tho, and recently the club i have been eyeing posted that they are hiring servers.

I have spoken to a few girls that dance at that club and have heard good things. Stable management, better customers, and overall a well-run place. Ive followed them on Instagram too and see them constantly promote their dancers and themed nights/featured dancers. Even the most recent news and experiences ive heard from the club are all pretty sound. I am pretty set on heading there,, but i was just curious if anybody knows if i could possibly still have a chance as a dancer later down the line if i just serve now? Do you think its a smart way to get my foot in the door, or would it jeopardize the chances of dancing there? Ive heard a few girls make their way up the ladder from serving/being a shot girl/ bartender but i guess im just anxious. I really need a job and have 4+ uears of serving/ hosting experience and am a HUGE talker and extrovert and love to make jokes. Sorry for being so anxious, lol. Thank you in advance!! Xoxo!

Are there any clubs where the customers aren’t allowed to touch you and/or take pictures or videos inside the club? I only heard of one nyc club that implements those rules but I was wondering if other clubs do the same

Hi! I’m a baby stripper has just began working at a gentleman’s club. I’ve been wearing and washing the same two lace two piece sets, but i’ve been wearing a VS push up bra to accentuate my bust (34H).

I am 130 lbs and want to wear the pretty two piece sets, but i don’t know if there are any companies that make underwire bras for my bust, or if it’s ok to dance with a matching VS Bra. I want to make my boobs look as good as possible, and my club hasn’t seen an issue with it so far.

Are there any dancer companies that sell clothes or top wear for those with big boobs, is sticking with a regular bra ok? We do need to wear a robe/cover up on the floor. TIA!

Hello, I am auditioning on Thursday. I plan on taking a whole class tomorrow and I also plan on doing some practice days maybe one or two after. I already have songs picked out and I already have a name picked out.

I need some advice for dances. Should I have a routine picked out or should I have a general idea as of what I’m going to do?

Also, I Am very pale. Do I wear colors that best suit my skin or do I wear the colors that people like the best? I might be overthinking this. I’m just very nervous. I’m also very excited to dance. Any tips would be appreciated!!!

Also what are your fav shoes and clothes to wear in general?

Also are tinsel extensions a bad idea?
