I’m an Asian guy who’s been in the rave/festival scene for years, and a lot of my close friends are white guys, and many of them date Asian girls. Over time, I started noticing how common White male / Asian female relationships seem to be in rave culture.

It feels like almost every Asian girl I’ve genuinely liked either rejects me for a white guy, or eventually ends up dating one of my white friends or another white guy in the scene.

What makes it harder is being around it constantly. Some of my white friends know this bothers me, and they tease me about it. Sometimes they’ll make jokes about how “Asian girls love white guys,” or joke that they already know how things will end whenever I say I’m interested in an Asian girl. A few of them are also very physically affectionate with their girlfriends in front of me — kissing, grabbing them, picking them up, dancing on them — almost like they know it gets in my head.

And honestly, I can’t ignore how much attention that kind of confidence gets. When new Asian girls come into the group, they immediately notice those relationships. They see white guys being loud, confident, dominant, openly affectionate, and completely unafraid to show attraction in public. The girls naturally start talking about those couples or becoming drawn toward that energy.

Meanwhile, I feel like a lot of Asian guys, including myself sometimes, are more reserved physically and emotionally in public. We overthink things, avoid making moves, or worry about coming off wrong. So when you compare that to someone who’s bold and expressive, it can feel like we’re invisible before we even get a chance. One time to show some confidence, one of my white friends would challenge me to see how fast we Asian girl instagram. I went into this group of girls and I started stuttering and felt soooo embarrassed but I told them I can buy them some food if they give me their instagram, I bought the food and they left, didn’t see them again lol. While my white friend got all of a group of Asian instagram and they came over to dance with us. I of course had to buy all of them food, which was the punishment.

The type of Asian that dates white man:

- The mean bratty one: these are the influencer baddies, the one that Asian guys wish the have the chance to date. They boast about their living style, while posting about the white bf and how healthy their lifestyle is. These type of girl knows about the kink, knows about wmaf, and Asian guy obsession with them. They use that for their advantage, they might have an OF, they might be the most freakiest, making inappropriate joke around Asian guys, these girl are willing to do raceplay and experience new stuff with white guys. May dive into camming, cosplay, or streaming. They mostly go for gym rat white guys, but can be all types of white guy.

-The innocent one: These are the Asian girl next door, the Asian girl you see in movies. However they might be quiet and innocent but they know their worth and they know what they want. They don’t really post much about their personal life. But once they do; Asian guy usually get jealous and see that they are dating a white guy. They love hiking and outdoor stuff, traveling and go to a school of mostly kid people. They usually go for nerdy white guy, who has similar interests like them.

-The raver: these are the same ones you see going to concert, rave, events. The love the moment, most of these are nurses, pharmacist, or work in health care. They make it very obvious that they like white guy, they will post about it, and post about how much they love each other. These type of Asian girl will have Asian guy as a friend, they might even friend zone a couple of them. They work, buy sexy outfits, and celebrate it with their hot white bf, and have all the Asian guy support.

-The international student: these are simple but deadly for Asian guy, they either, know exactly what they want, and talk, share about their white bf, or they will keep that a secret. Either way, asian guy usually pick them, because they think it’s easy, or they think it matches them. Little do they know, they wanna try new things out. They will reject Asian guy and go with any type of white guy.

-Gamer/Streamer: these are the streamers you see online, or maybe the streamer Asian guy pay money to sub. These can contain cosplayers as well, doing try haul from Asian guys money. Some of these streamer would flirts with guys online(Asian guy) and tease Asian guy, but behind the scenes, they date the richest white guy. Or they will make it very clear that they only date white guys. Most of these streamers either play solo or with a group of people, not much about their personal life, so Asian guy can easily imagine them being with the streamer. Just don’t check their IG or socials, it will break their heart.

-The Americanize: these are one of my favorite. They usually dye their hair blonde, live a very wealthy lifestyle, unlike the bratty one, these don’t need to boast about their lifestyle. They might get fake boobs, or lips filter, don’t have any Asian friends, obsessed with white culture, love country music, and of course, they don’t really care about what they post. These will be the defender of why you should date outside of your race. Goes on TikTok and IG to talk about interracial relationships. These are Asian guy obsession, they wanna be a cuck to them, supporting their lifestyle.

The list is based on my personal experience, but they are plenty more types of Asian girl that overlap. I wanna hear from both Asian and white guys to how accurate this is!!

I work as a photographer for my college, I mostly booked them for a price. But whenever I see a wmaf couple, I tend to not charge them.

Last week, I had 5+ wmaf couples booked and most of them are sooooo hot, I was hard the entire time. I’m I a loser for jerking off after each session. I would pull up their picture and goon my mind out.

My next week I have 3 more clients, all Asians, I will try my best to not fold.
