Need your genuine advice and any tips that I should follow.

I have been trying to find sb in Europe. I live in Amsterdam and have a good corporate job. I followed few communities here and reaching out to people. But didn’t find any good leads or the conversations go nowhere.
Firstly, what’s the best way to find someone?
Am I missing something?
I’m quite new to this, exploring a lot and learning a lot along the way. But I’m sure I’m doing something wrong.
