I think I really outdid myself today. Nico just looked so delicious, but now I am regretting my choices. My stomach is so incredibly tight and heavy, and it is putting on an absolute symphony of gurgles and sloshes! I don't think I could move from this sofa right now even if I wanted to.
It's so loud in this quiet room, I swear the sounds are echoing. When that deep burp finally worked its way up, the pressure relief was absolute bliss. Honestly, getting to taste Nico all over again was a deliciously satisfying little bonus.

He turned out to be just a bit too salty for my taste, so I am balancing him out with some fresh fruit for dessert. Between the twins and the pool boy taking up all the remaining space, getting up from this lounge chair is entirely out of the question for a while, so I might as well just enjoy the sun. I really outdid myself this time. I knew the twins were already making things a tight squeeze, but I thought I could still casually finish up my 'meal,' hop in my car, and cruise away. Turns out, squeezing an entire man into my already crowded belly meant a sudden change of plans.
Now I'm officially stuck in the parking lot, completely immobilized by my own appetite and my babies. I'm feeling absolutely gorgeous, of course, but entirely too stuffed to function. My belly is resting so heavily on my lap that I can barely even see the dashboard right now!
Whoever said you shouldn't eat a huge meal when you're carrying twins was clearly onto something... but he was just too tempting to leave behind. It's going to be a while before he breaks down enough for me to drive home safely, but honestly? I guess I'm just going to have to turn the AC up, sink into these comfortable leather seats, just relax and enjoy the afterglow!
