4th of July is one of my favorite holidays! But sometimes the guests... I mean.... BBQ is a little too filling. I had to make a quick pit stop to clear out some space for the strawberry shortcake. Nothing like a refreshing iced tea while nature takes its course! 😉
Squatted down to check the bottom shelf for preserves, felt way more pressure than anticipated, and figured I might as well evict that rude woman from Friday’s post office visit while I was down there.
The twins and I are still actively digesting the guy from yesterday’s park stroll, so making a little room was definitely necessary.
Nothing a mop can’t fix. Time to check out.
The grocery store is officially an extreme sport these days. By the time I secured the jar and left to check-out, I felt like I'd finished a marathon. The things I do for a good homemade lasagna.
Carrying twins means my wardrobe is already stretched to its absolute limit. But when the cravings hit in public, I rarely have the patience to hold back. There is something wonderfully degrading about pulling a soft little prey into a secluded corner, swallowing them whole, and then casually strutting back into the crowd knowing my dress is tearing at the seams from the sudden, squirming weight.
Do you prefer to wear something loose to hide your sudden meals, or do you enjoy the sheer audacity of walking around with a belly that is blatantly over-stuffed and bursting through your clothes?

I simply had to attend tonight's gala. The sea air is invigorating, and the company is always so wonderfully naive. But I'll admit, my favorite part of the evening was a private little tasting before the party.
I love when there's a little fight left in them. Everything tastes so much richer with a pulse of panic. It’s the perfect way to satisfy my cravings while enjoying the view.

Sapphire's unique cravings operated on a completely different level, turning the sleek, modern organic market into an unexpected hunting ground. Less than eight minutes ago, she had thoroughly devoured the stock clerk, Ethan, in the back room. Strutting back into the produce aisle with her heavily oiled, unblemished bare belly proudly on display, her stomach gave a sudden, demanding flutter. Sweet Ethan was clearly making his presence known.
Stopping dead in her tracks, she closed her eyes and let out an earth-shaking burp that easily cut through the store's ambient soft jazz. It was the unapologetic sound of a woman clearing essential real estate for her next course. Completely ignoring the paralyzed, wide-eyed onlookers, Sapphire gave her churning bump an affectionate rub. She calmly plucked a crisp organic apple from the display—a perfect palate cleanser to tide her over until dinner.

I think I really outdid myself today. Nico just looked so delicious, but now I am regretting my choices. My stomach is so incredibly tight and heavy, and it is putting on an absolute symphony of gurgles and sloshes! I don't think I could move from this sofa right now even if I wanted to.
It's so loud in this quiet room, I swear the sounds are echoing. When that deep burp finally worked its way up, the pressure relief was absolute bliss. Honestly, getting to taste Nico all over again was a deliciously satisfying little bonus.
