What should I expect for my first time going to a gay/bear event?
Title kinda sums it up, but basically I'm going to my first ever gay/queer event specifically oriented towards bears.
I've literally never been to a drag show, gay bar or anything similar so I'm kind of nervous (I'm also going alone so there's that 💀). There's supposed to be an axe throwing event and a disco among other things, but what's the general vibe in terms of socializing?
Do people randomly go up to each other and start talking/flirt/befriending eachother? I genuinely have no idea what to expect. Meeting a cute dude and exchanging contact info would be nice but I don't know what's just being friendly vs actually flirting in this context 😭
Anyone have advice or personal experiences they'd be willing to share?
