i bought a bed geek Handheld cordless Personal Wand Massager a while ago, and after a few months of using it it started to make a loud rattling sound whenever i would turn it on instead of a steady buzzing sound.

that told me that something inside of it was broken and probably unsafe to use, so i’m trying to dispose of it safely. i don’t want to just throw it in the trash because it has a lithium-ion battery and it’s dangerous to throw in the trash. i also don’t know if i can disassemble it/cut it because it might not be safe. i’m not sure what to do.
