Real Spankings
I know many sexualize spouses disciplining each other with grounding/time out, writing sentences, spankings, lectures, or whatever. My grandparents are in their 80s. My grandfather isn't all there mentally like he used to be. He has started being mean to grandma and hits her sometimes. Grandma has her wits much more about her than he does. She has started spanking him with a spatula when he gets aggressive. He's never that violent but he will slap her face or hit her arm. The spankings seem to help. It's not sexual at all. In fact it's sad to see grandpa like this. He's not the same person. She makes him bend over the back of their big couch and she really gives it to him. He obeys and takes it. She tells him that's what's going to happen if he acts that way. He has slowed way down. Things have improved, but he can still get into trouble. Guess this proves real nonsexual punishment spankings can happen to teach a lesson. It's not playing pretend or secret sexual fantasies being played out. These are as real as it gets. Grandma has even threatened to spank me but it hasn't happened. She was dead serious too.
