The quantity of weight loss and glp-1 ads I've been seeing lately is actually so disgusting, especially since they are clearly from sketchy health companies praying on people's insecurities.

I've been seeing a lot of them because I've been watching stuff on PlutoTV for free, but it'll literally play 3 different ads back to back and they even have the audacity to say you'll lose 20% of your body weight 😭

I think losing weight can definitely be helpful for some people depending on their health and bodily needs but just giving a blanket number like 20% is horrendous. I feel like maybe I'm more sensitive to seeing those ads because I'm into feedism, but even for non-feedists this has to feel excessive.
