I built a nude beach and hot springs map and I can't verify most of it. Can you check your local spot?

I built a nude beach and hot springs map and I can't verify most of it. Can you check your local spot?

Nanitch is a free map I've been building. Clothing optional beaches, hot springs, saunas. No ads, no subscription, and you don't need an account to look at it.

About 10,600 of the pins came out of OpenStreetMap, meaning a database says there's a nude beach there and nobody has actually checked. Those are marked unverified. Around 120 have a real write up on them, and only 16 have been confirmed by a person who went. I'd rather show you that number than pretend.

So what I want is corrections, not downloads. Pull up a spot you know. If it's closed, enforced now, textile now, moved, whatever it is, tell me and I'll fix it that day.

There's no private messaging in it and there won't be. You can post to a place and a date, that's the whole thing. All public, 18+.

nanitch.com, and it's on the App Store as Nanitch: Nude Beach (Social) Map

433 legally clothing optional spots across 17 European countries. Croatia is a wild outlier and I want to know if that matches your experience.

I've been building a map of clothing optional spots and I finally have enough of Europe in it to put the countries side by side. Here is where it landed.

Legally clothing optional: Germany 192, Croatia 50, Netherlands 45, France 41, Italy 23, Austria 19, Spain 18, Portugal 13, Switzerland 7, Czechia 6, Sweden 6, Hungary 5, Denmark 3, Norway 2, Greece 2, Slovenia 1.

Then another 2,068 that are tolerated by custom rather than officially designated. That second category is where the map changes shape completely. Greece has 2 official and 141 tolerated. France has 41 official and 394. Spain has 18 and 270. Croatia has 50 and 421.

Croatia is the one I keep staring at. 471 spots across both categories, in a country of about four million people. That works out to roughly 120 per million residents. Germany, with all of its FKK reputation, is around 9 per million. Nothing else on the list is close.

Two honest caveats. This comes from public mapping data, so it partly measures how well a country is mapped rather than what is actually on the ground. And I have not personally been to most of these, which is the reason I'm posting rather than publishing.

So where is yours, and what does this list get wrong? I'm most interested in the countries sitting at 2 and 3, because I don't believe Denmark and Greece have a handful between them. And if you go somewhere regularly that isn't the famous one in your country, that's the answer I'd most like to read.
