Hi there!! I am 10wpo as of today (yay!!) at my 6wpo appointment my surgeon said i had a couple tight spots, one kind of significant one under my left nipple (you can see the dent in the third photo) which i think is responsible for the sort of snoopy nose shape i’ve been struggling with. My surgeon suggested easing up on wearing bras to allow gravity to help assist the drop but I am starting to get concerned that this unnatural shape and slightly downward pointing nipples will stay. I think they look great from the front but from the side I think they look a little odd. Has anyone else experienced this? If so what helped to improve the contour? Do we think the tissue will just settle with time? I have a 3 month appointment in a few weeks so I will definitely be bringing it up I just want to avoid a revision if possible. Thanks!

Hello everyone! After my last post sharing my concern about my shape I am glad to say that things are looking up (literally lol)! I had my 6 week appointment with my surgeon and he told me that part of the issue in the delay of my tissue dropping is that I was actually a little bit too strict with wearing my compression! Who knew! He suggested actually wearing a well fit underwire bra to encourage the lower section to shape properly and i’ve already noticed a difference! The first two photos are now (6 weeks) and the last two are from last week. Here’s your reminder to not freak out! so many things are changing and giving them time is the best thing you can do:)) Thank you for all the encouragement <3

Hey guys! I am a little over 5wpo and I am feeling a bit freaked out about my shape and nipple placement. I have my 6 week appointment on monday and I am going to bring up my concerns with my surgeon but I am curious about what you guys think. Right now my shape looks kinda crazy and i’m hoping it’s swelling that will go down? My nipples are also pointing to the ground which is not exactly what I was hoping for. I know the “drop and fluff” happens at 3-6 months but I am getting concerned that I will still end up not perky. I would love to know your experience. Thanks!

Hi all, I am 3wpo as of last friday (yay!!) I understand that it’s still early days but I am a bit worried that my nipples are too low/ pointing downward. Looking at pictures from 2wpo I think the tissue has started to drop already but I am so worried they will continue to get lower! Just needing some reassurance, i’ve been hoping for a certain level of perkiness and I don’t feel that I am there. I am also curious about peoples drop and fluff timelines after 3wpo. Thanks!

Hi all, long time lurker first time poster here on this sub:) I am 11dpo today and I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this odd shape in the early days of recovery. I love how everything looks from the front and from a 3/4 view but from the side I feel i look strangely top heavy with that bulge above my nipple and the boxiness going down the incision. I am so trying to trust the process since I know they will change so much in the months ahead but i’m just curious if anyone else has seen/experienced this. Thanks so much!
