Rolling after hearing some bad news

Me and my partner had a festival this weekend which she loves and looks forward to all year( one of her favourite things to go to) but sadly today right before she’s found out her Nan has passed away. Just looking for some advice on whether it would be a good idea to go or not, obviously she is feeling very upset just didn’t know if maybe it would be good for her to go and to take her mind off it all or maybe it would just make her feel worst. I don’t think she is really feeling up to it which I respect as I don’t think a lot of people feel like doing anything after finding out some bad news and I’ve said if she doesn’t want to go it’s completly fine. Just didn’t know if it would be better for her then sitting around the house as it can make you feel worst. I don’t want to put any pressure on her to go but on other hand I feel I should almost motivate her to get out and do something it’s a tuff one.
