If I were to invite an escort to an event, I'd expect to pay for their time, of course. I wouldn't be so bold as to expect to discount the entire value of the ticket. But if the ticket is $1k+, that's not nothing. They may not be interested at all in the event and wouldn't pay even a dollar to attend, so that's one end of the spectrum, or they may absolutely love it and would have paid the entire amount themselves if it weren't sold out - that's the other end of the spectrum. Realistically or on average, how are such things handled?

Fit, single, 43M looking for a live music fan to spend the weekend enjoying the shows with me. September 18-20. I have GA+ wrist bands for us both - dedicated lounge, air-conditioned restrooms, and complimentary non-alcoholic drinks. It's still a month out but it's an entire weekend so not really good for last minute invites.
