I feel a bit stupid that I’m even writing this or going through this. I have been in the industry now for 2 years - I started working at strictly massage and AMP (Asian massage parlours) between SK, BC, ON and MB where I did very good 💰
I recently moved to my home province and wanted to try condo / micro style work to get a more flexible schedule and was hoping for more profit too. I replied to an ad I found online and was interviewed and hired the following day.
at first I thought it seemed great - get to show up to the condo and pick / choose my own schedule and hours (no more 9-12 hour shifts) the clients were friendly enough, although quite cheap. I was under the impression that the flat rate is $160 (hence their agency name which I won’t mention specifically) and was told “clients will tip more usually, so don’t worry“ (out of the 40 clients they sent me, maybe 4 actually tipped, but nothing ever over $50. I had 3 appointments that were all 2 hours each and all the client paid was $320 - no tip, no extras. being worked for 2 hours / multiple “pops” for $200?? Now i knew this was just beyond taking advantage of the girls.
I knew it was time to pull the plug on them when our City had an unexpected snow / blizzard storm, and they knew I had to travel the freeway to get to the in call 45 minutes away. I kindly texted them 5 hours in advance letting them know there was a weather advisory and I think it’s best just to stay at home since I was only working a couple hours anyways. They said “no problem” the following shift they basically told me “you owe $200” when I asked for what, and why so high the reasons would always change. First I was told “well we posted ads and the phone blew up and you weren’t available“ then it turned into “oh well we charge our girls $100 per missed shift and you were scheduled that weekend and only gave a few hours notice” 🤔
they have multiple locations across Canada and bring girls from Russia, USA, South America to live and work for weeks at a time. very unsanitary as well, they don’t provide their girls or stock rooms with condoms, lubes, or even clean sheets which I thought was disgusting. I’d go into work 3-4 days in a row, and the same sheets with the same stains would still be on the bed. When I asked about it, they told me they only provide 2 sets of sheets per room.
they would have us fully booked some days with very little breaks between, sometimes none at all. They also strongly push / encourage you to do BBBJ (so client is now getting massage, full service, BBBJ and 1 hour / 2 shots for $160 - $100 profit in my pocket? 🤔 they would say things like ”girls will be booked out, then take a week or two off and come back and have no business so we try to be consistent“ or “you’ll be guaranteed booked if you do BBBJ without up charging where as CBJ is 50/50”
to “we’re so busy, the owner always has work for us” it was very back and fourth / wishy washy.
there is a lot more I can say about it.. I worked a little over 3 weeks and basically ran. I did report the conditions and how I was charged ”fees” resulting in over $400 for calling off / not working. them allowing me to work unlicensed (I have the license to do massage but not escorting) in their condo without the proper license. the list goes on.. they also would take $20 from your first booking meaning you only made $80 for your first client of the day 🤷♀️ I should‘ve known better but sometimes when you’re under financial pressure, you’ll accept things for a while before you truly see something is not right.
I have reported them to the proper authorities in my city 🌆 and they would like me to do a victim statement. I am glad I am away from being over worked and underpaid. Just to make $580 you would need to see 6+ clients a day.. no thank you.
anyways, I don’t wish this on anyone else and just wanted to give my story. If anyone wants the name of the agency just message me. They are based heavy out of Alberta right now and advertise “$160” in their agency name and ads….
