Meeting a stripper outside of work - am I getting jumped lmfao?
I got dumped recently and went to a strip club for the hell of it. I had some cash to burn so after getting a particularly good lap dance decided screw it and treated myself to 30 minutes in vip. It was a very intimate dance (all above board though) and she was good at making conversation. She ended up giving me her number. (Her real number…not a text now or anything like that). Again, I just assumed it was part of the fantasy. She texted me randomly recently asking how I was and I mentioned a life milestone, and suggested we get a drink to celebrate…she said yes? We confirmed the place, (my pick) it’s in a pretty safe neighborhood that I’m familiar with and not too late at night. I’m fully aware that she might have an angle, but honestly, going on a date with a stripper even if it goes nowhere just seems like a fun life lore experience I’m not opposed to having.
My only concern is her switching up when we are there, demanding payment (beyond drinks or food), and having “friends” use violence or threats of violence to extort it from me. The only two things of value I’m showing up with are my phone and car. I asked her explicitly if she saw it as a “business/pleasure” interaction and she said she just saw it as us celebrating the milestone I mentioned early.
Y’all’s thoughts? Any safety precautions I should take?
