Since 2023, my wife of 14 years and my best friend of 15 have been in a romantic relationship. It started when I was out of state for work and I asked if he could drop by the house once a week to cut the grass, wash the cars, take the trash/recycling out, make sure her car is good to go, and help my wife out with anything around the house that might consist of manual labor she wouldn’t be able to get done on her own. In exchange I told him that I would pay him and that I’d make sure she would give him a good meal every time he wanted.

While I was gone he was laid off and fell on some hard times and needing a place to stay we offered him to stay in our spare bedroom while he got his things in order.

During that time my wife and him became well acquainted and became very close.

One night while her and I were in FaceTime for some marital bonding activities she mentioned wishing I was home because lately she’s been so horny that she’s been having moments where she looks at men and wants to ask them if they want to have sex. I was so surprised that she was telling me this because my wife has never been the type to do that with a man. However, she did it with me so maybe it’s just something that when the planets align she’s willing to do.

I started asking her about the guys that she was having these thoughts about for and there was one common denominator they all in some way we’re very close to a description of my best friend.

I asked the question.

What do you think about someone so? And that took her FaceTime date to a very interesting place and a couple of weeks later after me and him spoke about it they entered into an intimate relationship while I was gone.

He is loving, kind, caring, giving, soft yet firm, and attentive with her. He handles her body right and always makes it his priority to make her feel loved, seen, heard, appreciated, protected, and satisfied.

He’s always been very respectful and appreciative to me.

I’m very happy that this happened and that we are all happy with this arrangement.
