I am prescribed 50mg vyvanse daily for adhd, but work a high pressure job, my decisions make some big numbers go up and down and whenever I'm having a stressful day or know it's an important one before going to work I get physical anxiety. Higher hr and bp, more vasoconstriction, feels like I'm breathing manually, and I sweat a lot more than usual. I run and lift (before the med kicks in) 3x/week each, my rhr is 48, and eat a balanced diet with almost no processed foods so I'm sure the metrics don't get to dangerous levels when the anxiety hits, but it's uncomfortable and takes my focus away from what I'm doing. What can I ask my psychiatrist for in my next appointment?

I abused pregabalin and took like 1500-2000mg daily for about 2 months and snorted 60-130mg ritalin with it and unfortunately the Dr. is aware of this, kinda why he switched me to vyvanse. But he did prescribe me ambien which ive been on for 2 months for insomnia. Is there hope for me to get my hands on something fun? a coworker gave me a .5mg xan one of those days and it completely resolved the issue
