Well, the point that I am trying to make here is that women are just as lazy as men when it's their cunt, they talk about all 'bout efforts sometimes because it's so fucking easy for them to receive DMs.

It's not like they weren't interesting after I replied, it's just that putting a bit too much effort in the first DM knowing that there's barely a chance you'll even get accepted is a thing nobody would go for but guys because of the unimaginable sex ratio here have to go through that.
Most men send 100 personalized messages for 2-3 responses. The 'effort' you're demanding only exists because of the asymmetry you just benefited from.
